BPM & Shared Services Landscape in Global IndiaSSFIndia1
In the last 2 decades, India has become one of the preferred destinations for business process services for the world. These services have come to be most commonly known as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or Shared Services (SSC) and now, these services collectively come under the umbrella of Business Process Management (BPM).
In order to reap the benefits of BPM, recently Indian companies have also started to set up their own captive centers or outsourced to independent third party providers. Shared Services Forum (SSF) describes this evolution as ‘Global India’, combining both global and Indian organizations.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

Memorandum Of Association Constitution of Company.pptseri bangash
www.seribangash.com
A Memorandum of Association (MOA) is a legal document that outlines the fundamental principles and objectives upon which a company operates. It serves as the company's charter or constitution and defines the scope of its activities. Here's a detailed note on the MOA:
Contents of Memorandum of Association:
Name Clause: This clause states the name of the company, which should end with words like "Limited" or "Ltd." for a public limited company and "Private Limited" or "Pvt. Ltd." for a private limited company.
https://seribangash.com/article-of-association-is-legal-doc-of-company/
Registered Office Clause: It specifies the location where the company's registered office is situated. This office is where all official communications and notices are sent.
Objective Clause: This clause delineates the main objectives for which the company is formed. It's important to define these objectives clearly, as the company cannot undertake activities beyond those mentioned in this clause.
www.seribangash.com
Liability Clause: It outlines the extent of liability of the company's members. In the case of companies limited by shares, the liability of members is limited to the amount unpaid on their shares. For companies limited by guarantee, members' liability is limited to the amount they undertake to contribute if the company is wound up.
https://seribangash.com/promotors-is-person-conceived-formation-company/
Capital Clause: This clause specifies the authorized capital of the company, i.e., the maximum amount of share capital the company is authorized to issue. It also mentions the division of this capital into shares and their respective nominal value.
Association Clause: It simply states that the subscribers wish to form a company and agree to become members of it, in accordance with the terms of the MOA.
Importance of Memorandum of Association:
Legal Requirement: The MOA is a legal requirement for the formation of a company. It must be filed with the Registrar of Companies during the incorporation process.
Constitutional Document: It serves as the company's constitutional document, defining its scope, powers, and limitations.
Protection of Members: It protects the interests of the company's members by clearly defining the objectives and limiting their liability.
External Communication: It provides clarity to external parties, such as investors, creditors, and regulatory authorities, regarding the company's objectives and powers.
https://seribangash.com/difference-public-and-private-company-law/
Binding Authority: The company and its members are bound by the provisions of the MOA. Any action taken beyond its scope may be considered ultra vires (beyond the powers) of the company and therefore void.
Amendment of MOA:
While the MOA lays down the company's fundamental principles, it is not entirely immutable. It can be amended, but only under specific circumstances and in compliance with legal procedures. Amendments typically require shareholder

According to the ABPMP International's Guide to The BPM CBOK®, "Business
Process Management (BPM) is a disciplined approach to identify, design, execute,
document, measure, monitor, and control both automated and non-automated
business processes to achieve consistent, targeted results aligned with an
organization’s strategic goals
...
BPM enables an enterprise to align its business processes to its business
strategy, leading to effective overall company performance through
improvements of specific work activities either within a specific
department, across the enterprise, or between organizations.”
16/03/2012 BRICS and BPM 8
9. BRICS and BPM
Governments efforts in BPM are looking for
• Standardization
• Transparency
• Monitoring
• Process Automation
• Strategic Alignment
16/03/2012 BRICS and BPM 9
10. BRICS and BPM
BRAZIL
• BPM has gained a great importance here in private and public initiatives,
companies such as Oracle, IBM, SAP, Software AG, TIBCO, Savvion, etc
have been disputing customer in other to use their own solutions for BPM
• Brazil government has developed a project called “GESPUBLICA” (Gestão
Pública) – Public Management – Where you can find documentation related
to BPM applied into the government processes -
http://www.gespublica.gov.br/
• Brazil has been trying to use people with deep knowledge on BPM
• To the Brazilian people the implementation of BPM means; Minimize errors,
Avoid work arounds, No favors, Process Transparency, among other
tangible benefits
• Public-Private-Partnerships (PPP) are adopting BPM
• ABPMP Brazil – Association of Business Process Management
Professionals has a great activity in all Brazil territories spreading BPM
• Google’s research: BRAZIL AND BPM brings a lot of useful and related
results
16/03/2012 BRICS and BPM 10
11. BRICS and BPM
RUSSIA
• BPM also has a great importance on Russia but a lot more need to be done
• A local chapter of any BPM institution such as ABPMP as well as OMG
among other BPM Groups would help to spread the BPM Initiatives over
public and private sectors
• Currently some international companies existing on Russian’s territory take
advantage of BPM because it has been already implemented at
headquarters in others countries, but it not uncommon to see isolated
initiatives in other to implement BPM
• Google’s research: RUSSIA AND BPM does not bring a lot of useful and
related results you can see also a military vehicle called BPM or even Bits
per Seconds
• There are not too much information regarding government and BPM in
Russia
16/03/2012 BRICS and BPM 11
12. BRICS and BPM
INDIA
• We can find a lot of actives BPM Groups in India a little search on internet will
guide to several results
• A recent research Jyoti Bhat and Jude Fernandes (BPM in India), March 2011,
from http://www.bptrends.com indicates that not only BPM has a relative
importance in India as the BPM career has gained a lot of substance value
• There are India BPM Products running in the market at least for 8 to 9 years,
some important BPM Developers companies has their products among
hundreds of implementations such as: Karomi.com , Skelta.com , etc
• Private BPM Providers frequently handles roundtables discussion over BPM
in/and Government
• Just like Brazil, India has a lot of BPM initiatives within the government, a study
“Successful Governance Initiative and Best Practices – Experience from India
States” - http://planningcommission.nic.in/plans/stateplan/bpm-full-mnul.pdf
• Google’s research: INDIA AND BPM probably brings the best result related to
BPM, despite India is a technological center but with a great social inequality. It
means that India will have to solve this matter in a medium term
16/03/2012 BRICS and BPM 12
13. BRICS and BPM
CHINA
• We see researches of BPM in academicals search in Internet but it is limited to
this scenario, personally I do not know any Chinese BPM company selling a
single product.
• Jim Sinur has written about a conversation he had with a Chinese person
regarding BPM, that China does not need BPM because they a lot people to do
a job at a very low price… Strange Brew: BPM in China
• Another interesting article about BPM and China comes from Adam Deane –
BPM in China – where he also mention about Jim Sinur article
• As the policy of China is totally different from other democratic countries and as
what the government does or fails to make relates only to the government. I
believe it will be hard to see BPM initiatives on government.
• Google’s research: CHINA AND BPM probably brings the worst result related
to BPM, among the results we see medical devices, etc
16/03/2012 BRICS and BPM 13

SOUTH AFRICA
• There are a local chapter of ABPMP in South Africa among several other BPM
Groups spreading BPM Initiatives
