- The study characterized the viscoelastic properties of creep and stress relaxation in porcine Achilles tendon and ligament samples. - Testing found that both tendon and ligaments experienced similar levels of stress relaxation and creep at loads of 300g and 1000g. However, creep increased with increasing load. - Future studies are needed to evaluate the viscoelastic properties of these tissues under loads beyond their normal physiological range.
