1. The document discusses the Brahma Upanishad, a sacred Hindu text about Brahman, the ultimate reality.
2. It describes Brahman as the supreme self or soul that pervades all beings and the entire universe. Brahman is said to be present in the four states of consciousness - waking, dreaming, dreamless sleep, and transcendental.
3. Various spiritual concepts are explained such as the sacred thread worn by Hindus, different levels of knowledge, and the practice of meditation and worship to realize the supreme self within.
The concept of God in Hinduism according to Vedas, Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita. The concept of God is the very definition of reality. It is code to liberate our self from this illusive world of colors and forms.

An aspirant for wisdom first turns away from the pleasures of life and absorbs himself in the search for knowledge, which he learns from a master. This is hearsay knowledge.
In order to experience it, he ponders over it and clears his doubts. Then he applies the knowledge to himself and tries to feel his immortal being transcending the body, mind, etc., he succeeds in feeling his Self within.
Later he remembers the teaching imparted by his Guru that the Self being unqualified, cannot be differentiated from God and experiences his unity with the Universal Self. This is in short the course of wisdom and liberation.
If you infer its eternal light, then closely investigate whether the light is of itself or not. Everybody fails in this investigation however learned and proficient he may be, because his mind is not bent inward but restlessly moves outward.

• As long as thoughts crop up, so long has the turning inward of the mind not been accomplished.
• As long as the mind is not inward, so long the Self cannot be realised.
• Turning inward means absence of desire.
• How can the mind be fixed within if desires are not given up?
Therefore become dispassionate and inhere as the Self. Such inherence is spontaneous (no effort is needed to inhere as the Self). It is realised after thoughts are eliminated and investigation ceases.
Diversity is visible only in space, and this space is in the Self, which in turn projects it at the moment when differentiation starts although it is not then clear. Rama! Look within.

• What you perceive as space within is the expanse wherein all creatures exist, and it forms their ‘Self’ or consciousness.
• What they look upon as space is your ‘Self’.
• Thus, the ‘Self’ in one is space in another, and vice versa.
• The same thing cannot differ in its nature.
• Therefore there is no difference between space and ‘Self’ - which is full and perfect Bliss-Consciousness.

Listen! Rama, I am now telling you the secret of accomplishment. Of all the requisites for wisdom, Divine Grace is the most important. He who has entirely surrendered himself to the Goddess (Pure Consciousness by devotion through a true Guru) is sure to gain wisdom readily. Rama! This is the best of all the methods.
This method does not require other aids to reinforce its efficiency, as other methods do for accomplishing the end. This is hard for those whose minds are directed outward; and it is easy, sure and quick for devotees engrossed in the Goddess of the Self to the exclusion of all else.

doctors say this is not Chikungunya but an unknown viral fever. Government doctors also repeat the same. One doctor describes it as a cross breeding of denque and Chikungunya.
So it is undoubtedly the notorius Chikungunya. But even the newspapers and TV channels describe it as unknown viral fever. Government declares that there is an unidentified viral fever and it is not Chikungunya and research is going on to find what it is.
But according to common men who is standing with the knee bending it is Chikungunya and say “I am having Chikungunya for the past three months” when they describe their sufferings.
My doubt is why the media and the Government hesitate to declare that it is Chikungunya.
Whether the World Health Organisation (W.H.O) will declare the country as ugly country if it has Chikungunya?
Or whether the World Bank will refuse to give loans to the country if Chikungunya is there in that country?
Or whether the opposing party members will cry that the Government has failed to control an epidemic decease in Parliament and in Assembly?
God only knows.....

YV BKII CH12 The Greatness of True KnowledgePardeep Sehgal
Rama, I honour you as one of a perfect mind. You know what to ask and you understand what is spoken to you. Therefore I will continue speaking to you respectfully.
Be still, keep your mind fixed in yourself, and attend to knowledge. Be free of pride and passions and incline yourself to pure truth. Whatever business or investigation someone undertakes, it must be brought to a happy conclusion that tends towards his peace and tranquillity.
One obtains the capacity for yoga by discussing the scriptures in the company of good people, which alone can provide us with the great charm of spiritual knowledge.
The journey of this world is delightful to one who, after the removal of his errors and dispersion of the cloud of his ignorance, has come to the knowledge of truth.
"Oh Shama, this book is very valuable and efficacious, so I present it to you, you read it. Once I suffered intensely and My heart began to palpitate and My life was in danger. At that critical time, I hugged this book to My heart and then, Shama, what a relief it gave me! I thought that Allah Himself came down and saved Me. So I give this to you, read it slowly, little by little, read daily one name at least and it will do you good."

Upani ads are the highest portion of Veda and upani ads are called as vedanta. It is the compound word of Sanskrit like upa ni sad, which denotes sitting at the feet or presence of a guru. The upani ads are called disclosure of god. There are one hundred and eight upani ads in Indian philosophical tradition. But their numbers exceed two hundred Among of them 11 number of upani ads are treated as major upani ads. The svetasvataropani ad is a major upani ad and there are 113 mantras in this upani ad and which belongs to k ayajurveda. The svetasvataropani ad describes the yoga, its usages and merits vividly. There are seen many more descriptions of the supreme soul and the descriptions about the individual soul in this upani ad very beautifully. Mysteries of Consciousness as space and air and Goddess Bargabhimaa---Quotes ...debkumar_lahiri
Mysteries of Universal Consciousness as Space and Air have been narrated based on the experience of the sages of Upanishads. Also, the relation of this knowledge with the goddess Bargabhimaa (vargabhiimaa) and Pandava Bhima has been explained. Original texts of Upanishads with meanings and meanings of various Sanskrit words have been mentioned. This article provides insight to the consistency of statements in various Upanishads and the deep-rooted connection of knowledge to history, mythology, and religious practices.
Chapter 9 of Bhagavad Geeta, entitled "Rajavidya Rajaguhya Yoga" discusses the Royal Knowledge of Pure Consciousness, in whose light all conditioned-knowledge are made possible. Krishna Himself calls this Science of the Absolute "the most secret (profound) Science". It is promised in the beginning itself that both speculative & practical aspects of this Knowledge will be told here. Not only the theory of self-perfection but also the logic behind it all are discussed in this chapter. This is the profound Knowledge combined with experience, having known which there is nothing more to be known, & one shall be free from the sorrows of life.
Vedas the universal eye of Consciousness, Indra and the Golden Motherdebkumar_lahiri
This is an article on the Vedas. The significance of the four Vedas, the revelation of Universal Consciousness as creation has been described following the knowledge preached by the Seers. In this context is described the king of the heaven Indra and his golden mother. The relation between the Creator, deities and the creatures, evolution to the supreme form has been described as told by the Seers.

See the above fly over in Thirumangalam Town which is in the high way from Madurai town to Courtalam and tirunelveli town and other south side towns. (Kanyakumari,Nagercoil,Tuticorin and even to Trivandrum.
One who is going to courtallam via Rajapalayam will have to go in the left side road and travel five kilometers and then go under the flyover to reach the correct road. But people who are knowing that courtallam is on the right side and Virudhunagar and Tuticorin and Tirunelveli are in left side will be confused at this road juncture and will be roaming in these roads for another half an hour unnecessarily inside the Thirumangalam town asking everybody where is the Rajapalayam road .
In India two famous sayings are there. One is “if the body is once opened by a knife it is always opened” and the another is “don’t go to a surgeon for a headache”. Normally we will hesitate to meet a specialist in certain areas of medical field. We will first consult a M.B.B.S., doctor (and even that is only after drinking some decoctions of natural leaves and barks of medicinal trees)and then if the problem persists or if it is recomended we will go to M.D., doctor and if only necessary we will go to a M.S., for a surgery. It is the custom in India. Our fear is if we go to a surgeon for an ordinary headache he may doubt that whether we are having any brain at all and he may wish to open the skull and see that whether the brain is intact there.

Eventhough earth has cooled thousands of years back only the outer layer is solid and the inner portion is only in liquid form. And even this outer layer is not in a single piece as a foot ball cover rubber sheet but are only in many pieces. Above all these pieces are not stationary but they are moving slowly and tries to sit on the neighbouring sheet. Earth quake is the result. In big cities more and more constuctions are going daily makes the area more weight and makes the floating plates more unstable. That is the reason why when there is an earth quake in Andaman or Indonesia ,Chennai feels the tremor lightly .
As the train is a night train it reached the station at mid night and I peeped out of the train. A dark station without any developments. The fellow passengers advised me to get down at Cuddalore town and I did. The ticket checker stopped me and told that I have travelled three kilometers extra as I have purchased the ticket only upto Cuddalore Junction and if I refuse I would have to attend the Vridhachalam court for a case. I paid the ticket charges and fine for the ticketless travel and came out. Later I came to know that the cuddalore junction station is near the cuddalore port which is not at all a town (which is only a fishing village) and the cuddalore town station is very near to the town but only has the official name as Tiruppadirippuliyur (if you spell this correctly at the first time itself you can appreciate yourself)
Sarvam kalvitham brahma (all are only brahmam),thath thvam asi (that is this), athmai vetham sarvam (all are only soul) are the mahavagyas (great words) teached in this. The main aim of
this upanishad is to explain the “OM” which is elixir of all the great words of the vedhas.
He who has studied the Vedas at the house of a teacher, according to the prescribed rules, during the time left after the performance of his duties to the teacher; he who, after leaving the teacher’s house, has settled down into a householder’s life and continued the study of the Vedas in a sacred spot and made others (i.e. his sons and disciples) virtuous; he who has withdrawn all the sense-organs into the Self; he who has not given pain to any creature except as approved by the scriptures-he who conducts himself thus, all through his life, reaches the World of Brahman after death and does not return, yea, does not return.
The pilgrims who are coming from North India to Rameswaram, kanyaumari, Trichy, Madurai and other places in Tamilnadu are suffering a lot at Central Railway station to go to Egmore Railway station in Chennai to catch the south bound trains of Southern Railway. Taxi drivers and auto drivers are demanding 400 to 500 rupees to go to Egmore which is only two kilometers from Central. Foreign tourists are also not left over. As they don’t know Tamil they have no other chance to escape from this crisis.
Even though the world is looking like total it is in lesser totality than the soul itself. In mathematics if anything is taken away from one it will have reduced volume or size etc.,but in God this theory is not applicable. Everything is coming out from Him but He is total and permanent. For example if a teacher is teaching something he is not loosing anything. His knowledge is total and the student's knowledge is also total.

a symbolic story of two birds. One is adma (soul) and another is jeev(life).
Both are sitting in a fig (ficus) (pippala) tree. Jeev eats the fruit of fig tree
(Pippala) and adma(soul) is looking at her without any influence..

. Rishi Pippala has told a story of two birds Adma (soul), jeev (living being), has later become the story of adam and eve of bible. Pippala has this name because he has eaten only the leaves and fruits of piple (fig) (ficus religiosa). piple has later become bible. refer piple and bible. .....ashokha2. Unto him (Shaunaka) he (Pippalada) imparted the supreme Wisdom of Brahman: That is Prana, the Atman. He constitutes the glory of the Atman, the life of the Devas. He represents both the life and the death of the Devas. That Brahman who shines within the divine Brahmapura (or body) as the faultless One, devoid of manifested effects, self-effulgent, all-pervading, He (it is who) controls (the Jiva), like a spider controlling the king of bees. Just as spiders by means of one thread project and withdraw the web, so also the Prana, (who) retires drawing back his creation. Prana belongs to the Nadis or subtle nerve-chords as their Devata or indwelling deity. One in dreamless sleep goes through that state to one’s own Abode, like a falcon and the sky – just as a falcon goes (to its nest) borne on the sky. He states: -- Just as this Devadatta (in dreamless sleep) runs not away even when struck with a stick, even so he does not also attach himself to good or evil consequences of the life’s ordained activities; just as a child enjoys itself (spontaneously) without motive or desiring fruit, even so this Devadatta (the subject of dreamless sleep) enjoys happiness in that state. He knows being the Light Supreme. Desiring Light he enjoys the Light. So also he returns by the same way to the dream-state, like a leech: just as a leech carries itself on to the other points in front – (first) fixing upon the next point. And that state which he does not give up for a next one is called the waking state. (He carries all these states within himself) just as a (Vedic) deity bears the eight sacrificial cups simultaneously. It is from Him that the source of the Vedas and the Devas hang like breasts. In this waking state particularly good and evil obtain for the shining being (i.e. man’s Self) as ordained. This being or Self is fully self-extended (into world-forms), he is the indwelling controller of things and beings, he is the Bird, the Crab, the Lotus, he is the Purusha, the Prana, the destroyer, the cause and the effect, the Brahman and the Atman, he is the Devata making everything known. Whoever knows all this attains to the transcendent Brahman, the underlying support, the subjective principle.3. Now this Purusha has four seats, the navel, the heart, the throat, and the head. In these shines forth the Brahman with four aspects: the state of wakefulness, of dream, of dreamless sleep, and the fourth or transcendental state. In the wakeful state, He is Brahma; in the dreaming state, He is Vishnu; in dreamless sleep He is Rudra; and the fourth state is the Supreme Indestructible One; and He again is the Sun, the Vishnu, the Ishwara, He is the Purusha, He the Prana, He the Jive or the animate being, He the Fire, The Ishwara, and the Resplendent; (yea) that Brahman which is transcendent shines within all these ! In Itself, It is devoid of mind, of ears, of hands and feet, of light. There neither are the worlds existing nor non-existing, neither are the Vedas or the Devas or the sacrifices existing nor non-existing, neither is the mother or father or daughter-in-law existing nor non-existing, neither is Chandala’s son or Pulkasa’s son existing nor non-existing, neither is the mendicant existing nor non-existing, so neither all the creatures or the ascetics; and thus only the One Highest Brahman shines there. Within the recess of the heart is that Akasa of consciousness – that with many openings, the aim of knowledge, within the space of the heart – in which all this (universe outside) evolves and moves about, in which all this is warped and woofed (as it were). (Who knows this), knows fully all creation. There the Devas, the Rishis, the Pitris have no control, for being fully awakened, one becomes the knower of all truth.4. In the heart the Devas live, in the heart the Pranas are installed, in the heart exist the supreme Prana and Light as also the immanent Cause with threefold constituents and the Mahat principle.5. It exists within this heart, that is, in the consciousness. “Put on the sacrificial thread which is supremely sacred, which became manifest of yore with Prajapati (the first created Being) Himself, which embodies longevity, eminence and purity, and may it be strength and puissance to you !”<br />(this mantra is spelled during the sacred thread ceremony.)<br />Yangyopaveetham paramam pavithram prajabather<br />yath sagajam purasthath | Ayusya – magryam<br />prathimunja subram yangyobaveetham<br />palamasthu theja:||<br />6. The enlightened one should discard the external thread putting it off with the sacred tuft of hair on the head; the Supreme Brahman as the all-pervading one is the thread, and he should put this on.<br />An enlightened soul who has renounced the worldly life must first remove this log of hair and this sacred thread. The knowledge is the invisible thread in his body. .......ashokha<br />7. The Sutra (or thread) is so called because of its having pierced through and started (the process of becoming). This Sutra verily constitutes the Supreme State. By whom this Sutra is known, he is the Vipra (sage), he has reached beyond the Vedas.8. By It all this (universe) is transfixed, as a collection of gems is stringed together on a thread. The Yogi who is the knower of all Yogas and the seer of truth should put on this thread.9. Established in the state of highest Yoga, the wise one should put off the external thread. One who is really self-conscious must put on the thread constituted by awareness of Brahman.10. On account of wearing this Sutra or thread, they can neither become contaminated nor unclean, those (namely) who have this thread existing within them – those, with this sacrificial thread of knowledge.11. They, among men, (really) know the Sutra, they (really) wear the sacrificial thread (on themselves), who are devoted to Jnana (the highest knowledge), who have this Jnana for their sacred hair-tuft, this Jnana for their sacred thread.12. For them Jnana is the greatest purifier – Jnana, that is the best as such. Those who have this Jnana for their tufted hair are as non-different from it as is fire from its flame. This wise one is (really) said to be a Shikhi (or wearer of the tufted hair), while others are mere growers of hair (on the head).13. But those belonging to the three castes (Brahmanas, Kshatriyas and Vaisyas) who have the right of performing Vedic works have to put on this (i.e. the common) sacred thread, as surely this thread is ordained to be part of such works.14. One who has the Jnana for his tufted hair, and the same for his sacred thread, has everything about him characterised by Brahmanahood – so know the knowers of the Vedas !15. This sacred thread (of Yajna, i.e. of the all-pervading Reality) is, again, the purification (itself) and that which is the end-all (of Vedic works); and the wearer of this thread is the wise one – is Yajna himself as well as the knower of Yajna.16. The One Lord (self-effulgent) in all beings remaining hidden, all-pervading and the Self of all beings, controlling and watching over all works (good or bad), living in all creatures and the Witness (i.e. neither the doer of any acts nor the enjoyer), the Supreme Intelligence, the One without a second, having no attributes.17. The one Intelligent (active) Being among the many inactive, He who makes the many from what is one – the wise men who find out this Self, theirs is the eternal peace, not of others.18. Having made oneself the Arani, and the Pranava the upper Arani and rubbing them together through the practice of meditation, see the Lord in His hidden reality. (As fire is prepared by rubbing<br />two wooden pieces. The individual is the lower wooden piece and the chanting is the upper piece and the God is the fire (the final result).19. As in the oil in the sesham seed, the butter in the curd, water in the flowing waves, and fire in the Shami wood, so is the Atman in one’s self to be discovered by one who searches for It through truth and austere practice.20. As the spider weaves out the web and again withdraws it, so the Jiva (life) comes out to and goes back again to the wakeful and dreaming states respectively.21. The heart (i.e. the inner chamber of heart) resembles the calyx of a lotus, full of cavities and also with its face turned downwards. Know that to be the great habitat of the whole universe.22. Know the wakeful state to have for its centre the eyes; the dreaming state should be assigned to the throat; the state of dreamless sleep is in the heart; and the transcendental state is in the crown of the head.23. From the fact of an individual holding his self by means of Prajna or spiritual understanding in the Supreme Self, we have what is called Sandhya and Dhyana, as also the worshipping associated with Sandhya.24. The Sandhya by meditation is devoid of any offering of liquids and so also of any exertion of body and speech; it is the unifying principle for all creatures, and this is really the Sandhya for Ekadandis.26. From which without reaching It, the speech falls back with the mind, that is the transcendental Bliss of this embodied being, knowing which the wise one is released (from all bondage).<br />means that you cannot reach God by chanting of mantras or prayers. mind and speech will not reach God .............ashokha<br />26. (And this Bliss is verily) the Self which pervades the whole universe, as the butter diffused within the milk. This is the Brahmopanishad, or the supreme wisdom of Brahman, in the form of a unity of the Atman of all, founded on the spiritual discipline (Tapas) which is (nothing but) the Vidya or science of the Atman. Om ! May He protect us both together; may He nourish us both together;May we work conjointly with great energy,May our study be vigorous and effective;May we not mutually dispute the teacher and the student (or may we not hate any).<br />Let there be peace in the three world : ||Om ! Let there be Peace in me !Let there be Peace in my environment !Let there be Peace in the forces that act on me !Here ends the Brahmopanishad belonging to the Krishna-Yajur-Veda.<br />
