2. Artist’s Statement:
As long as I can remember I always had a love for art. One day in study hall I picked up a pen and I covered a whole piece of
paper with abstract line work. That is when I realized art was something I wanted to pursue. I found my inspiration when I attended
an oil painting class. At first I didn’t really feel like an artist but after that class I discovered that art was my true passion in life. I
began working in different mediums and I found that I also developed an eye for photography. I have always admired other Artist’s
work and felt inspired when collaborating with others. I feel that it helps me grow as an artist when working with other painters,
sculptures, videographers, and photographers.
I aspire to compose a piece of artwork that moves my viewers in different ways. I strive for each viewer to be able to walk
away with their own emotions and interpretations of my work. Art has become an outlet for me and I find myself painting my raw
emotions onto the canvas. I enjoy sharing my work with people who are looking to connect with something outside of themselves.
I find all mediums of art to be a beautiful way to create a new reality for my viewers and myself.
