The brachial plexus is a network of nerves formed by the anterior rami of C5, C6, C7, C8, and T1, providing sensory and motor innervation to the upper limb and shoulder girdle, along with some autonomic functions. It consists of roots, trunks, divisions, cords, and branches, with specific anatomical locations in the neck and axilla. The cords are related to the axillary artery, and there are a total of 13 branches originating from the three cords.
