JCC: The Business and Economics Research Journal Volume 5, Issue 2, Sep 2012 Call for Papers - Special Issue on “ Business Performance Management”
Aims and Scope The special issue encourages original research papers of high quality providing practical application to real world business/management problems.  Empirical applications of Business Performance Management (BPM) to address questions of importance in the management and social sciences, particularly in innovative/ inventive contexts, are of considerable interest for the special issue. Empirical research, as well as the development of new or modified BPM models to address challenging and emerging policy or management/business problems will be emphasized.  The special issue welcomes empirical papers on BPM from all fields of business application, such as (but not limited to) Agriculture, Banking, Education, Environment, Economy, Government, Health, Insurance, Information Technology, Marketing, Operations, Public Policy, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Retail, Regulation, Services and Tourism.
Submission Manuscripts should be submitted by attachment to  [email_address]  and CC to  [email_address]   with indication of two possible reviewers for the article and their contact information and email addresses. They should not have been previously published nor be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.  Papers that do not fit the focus of the special issue but meet the quality standards of the Journal of CENTRUM Cathedra will be refereed as a regular JCC submission.
Requirements for the Submission of Articles Manuscripts should be written entirely in English. Manuscripts report the elaboration of theory or empirical results that have not been published previously. Manuscripts should be submitted in Word, Times New Roman 12pt. font without columns. Manuscripts should be submitted in the American Psychological Association Publication Guide (APA) sixth edition format. M anuscripts should include title and author’s name and surname on the first page only because of blind review requirements. Do not write name, surname and author’s note in the rest of the paper.
Requirements for the Submission of Articles We require an abstract of no more than 100 words and the key words of the article. This should be written in the same file as the manuscript. Figures and tables should be placed on separate pages, in its original format and should always be numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2). Do not insert figures and tables in the text. Instead, in the space immediately after the paragraph in which the figure or table is first referenced, insert a text tag indicating that the figure should be placed there. The corresponding author should submit a declaration letter indicating that the research is original work of the author(s) and has not been submitted anywhere else for the consideration of publication.
