In the blessed name of Allah (God) who is the Creator of the universe.

O’ people think. How did God make you a family by
creating through a mother and a father and then made
your tribes. You established relations amongst
yourselves. Then sanctified those relations. And you
maintain the sanctity of these relations so that (you)
remain respectful in the society. Maintain the sanctity of
the relations that you have established. And perform
marriages in accordance with the fashion so that
legitimate children are born in you. God does not
encourage genocide. The restrictions which have been
established for marriage (you) must maintain those
restrictions and must not transgress them.
O’ people listen. There are different established
restrictions for sacred relations in you. You must adjust
these restrictions according to those restrictions which
God has got established through His last prophet.
Relations of close blood relatives which have been
permitted are permitted and those declared prohibited
are prohibited. And the people who maintain the
restrictions of God are the ones who get wellbeing. O’
people establish relations amongst yourselves so that
love sprouts in you. All human beings are equal. There is
no distinction in anybody. God has created simplicities
for you why do you put yourself into trouble.
O’ people listen. Many of the customs that you have
established and the practices (you) have introduced
indicate ignorance. Because many a customs and
practices put you into trouble. Give up these customs
and practices so that you get rid of the torment of
customs and practices. There are many in you who at
the time of marriage of their girl take some agreed

amount of money from her husband. There are many in
you who take an agreed amount of money from the
relatives of the girl in exchange of the boy. And the
practice of dowry is common. There are many in you
who would kill the girl through different ways for not
getting dowry or taunt her. All these are matters of
ignorance. O’ people give up these customs. You know
that you trade your offspring through these customs. And
those people who trade their offspring in any way their
destiny is hell. O’ people avoid the fire of hell. The fire of
greed is the fire of hell.
O' people listen. When you marry then marry with good
intentions. And promise that (you) will lead life with
sincerity & love with mutual understanding. If there be
any conflict between you then try to resolve it. And
obtain help of the elders of the family. But if truce is not
possible then get separated in an elegant manner. And
return each other’s goods happily. The people who
marry with bad intentions or show dishonesty in returning
the goods after separation or who afflict pain through
their conduct they deserve punishment. Boycott them
socially and do not give any relief in taking the goods
back from them.
O' people listen. Man and woman are equal in marriage.
(If) a woman wants get separated then she can take
divorce. And if a man wants to get separated the he can
take divorce. The rights of both of them are equal.
Neither can a man keep the woman in suppression nor
can a woman keep the man in suppression. No one is
the obedient servant of anyone. Marriage is
understanding. What is a marriage when there is no
understanding.
O' people listen. When you fail to resolve the conflicts
between woman and man and could not make truce

between them then cause divorce to happen between
them. And divorce is the cancellation of marriage
contract. In a contract both the parties are equal and
both have equal responsibilities and duties. Do not
compel the woman that she should live with the husband
under any pressure. Social evils spread by living
together after coming under pressure. There are bad
effects on offspring and they happen to be misbehaving,
unhealthy, rebel of the society. O' people pay attention
towards the correction of the society. Yes if both the
parties would like to live together with mutual
understanding, with love then this is a blessing for them.
O' people listen. In case of divorce probationary period is
necessary. Probationary period is there so that
pregnancy is assessed. But if it is known through
medical checkup that there is no pregnancy then there is
no harm in the subsequent marriage. O' people do not
create hurdle in the marriage of divorced women. And
nor keep them in probationary period unwarranted. Have
the medical checkup of divorced woman after divorce so
that she is free from confusion. O' people neither a man
nor a woman should solemnize more than one marriage.
There is no restriction on anyone after divorce. Man can
marry and the woman too. But those two cannot
solemnize marriage between them. This is a punishment
for both of them.
O' people listen. If there is a problem of children after
divorce then settle that in good manner. If the woman
would like to give children to man then (she) can give.
And similarly the man can give children to woman. But
he will bear all expenses of children. Whether the
woman would marry or not. But if the man would not like
to bear the expenses then boys will be given to woman
and girls would be given to man. This is justice as well
as a punishment for both of them for a prescribed period.

9 O' people listen. Women are not the property of men.
Nor any man is the property of any woman. Man and
woman both are independent and free. Until they have
understanding between them they are bound in the
marriage bond. But when there remains no
understanding and harmony then both should break the
bond of marriage. It is because that evil should not
spread in the society. O' people you should avoid sexual
intercourse freely without marriage that it is a sickness
as well as a sin. Marriage allows you to have sexual
intercourse with mutual consent. But no one party will
compel any other party nor will have sexual intercourse
forcefully. Virtuous children are born only through
intercourse with mutual consent. O' people recognize the
restrictions of God and understand your restrictions so
that you should not become liable to punishment being a
rebel.
