Abstract A new liposuction technology for adipocyte
lipolysis and uniform three-dimensional tissue heating and
contraction is presented. The technology is based on bipolar
radiofrequency energy applied to the subcutaneous adipose
tissue and subdermal skin surface. Preliminary clinical
results, thermal monitoring, and histologic biopsies of the
treated tissue demonstrate rapid preaspiration liquefaction of
adipose tissue, coagulation of subcutaneous blood vessels,
and uniform sustained heating of tissue.
This document discusses a patient's treatments over several months that included RFL for their abdomen two days after the initial treatment and again 70 days later. The patient experienced tightening effects in their abdomen and hips from various treatments over a period of 2 to 6 months.

Cell Therapy Expansion and Challenges in Autoimmune DiseaseHealth Advances
There is increasing confidence that cell therapies will soon play a role in the treatment of autoimmune disorders, but the extent of this impact remains to be seen. Early readouts on autologous CAR-Ts in lupus are encouraging, but manufacturing and cost limitations are likely to restrict access to highly refractory patients. Allogeneic CAR-Ts have the potential to broaden access to earlier lines of treatment due to their inherent cost benefits, however they will need to demonstrate comparable or improved efficacy to established modalities.
In addition to infrastructure and capacity constraints, CAR-Ts face a very different risk-benefit dynamic in autoimmune compared to oncology, highlighting the need for tolerable therapies with low adverse event risk. CAR-NK and Treg-based therapies are also being developed in certain autoimmune disorders and may demonstrate favorable safety profiles. Several novel non-cell therapies such as bispecific antibodies, nanobodies, and RNAi drugs, may also offer future alternative competitive solutions with variable value propositions.
Widespread adoption of cell therapies will not only require strong efficacy and safety data, but also adapted pricing and access strategies. At oncology-based price points, CAR-Ts are unlikely to achieve broad market access in autoimmune disorders, with eligible patient populations that are potentially orders of magnitude greater than the number of currently addressable cancer patients. Developers have made strides towards reducing cell therapy COGS while improving manufacturing efficiency, but payors will inevitably restrict access until more sustainable pricing is achieved.
Despite these headwinds, industry leaders and investors remain confident that cell therapies are poised to address significant unmet need in patients suffering from autoimmune disorders. However, the extent of this impact on the treatment landscape remains to be seen, as the industry rapidly approaches an inflection point.
One health condition that is becoming more common day by day is diabetes.
According to research conducted by the National Family Health Survey of India, diabetic cases show a projection which might increase to 10.4% by 2030.

Skin Temperature Monitoring & Limit Control
• A sensor embedded in the handpiece provides real time surface
temperature; only device to monitor epidermal temperature
• Temperature cut-off above an adjustable target level and energy is
automatically reactivated when the hand piece/temperature falls
below the cut-off level
• This closed-loop feedback avoids overtreatment and thermal hot
spots to ensure a safe and uniform treatment.
• Allows operator to maintain
target temp at any give location
featuring RFAL™ Technology
26. RFAL Features & Benefits
Impedance Monitoring
• Contact Impedance:
– Energy cut off if one of the electrodes does not have contact
with the skin’s surface or is too close to the skin’s surface
• Anti-Carbonization Protection:
– Automatically cuts off energy during treatment if carbonization
builds on the internal electrode.

52. Physician Testimonial: Skin Contraction
“For skin tightening, nothing other than BodyTite really works. With
competing systems, you may attain as much as 10% improvement in skin
tightening. But BodyTite truly causes skin contraction, if used correctly.
With BodyTite, you can actually measure skin contraction. With one
treatment, I am seeing up to 40% skin retraction.”
“Every single patient of mine has been ecstatically happy with treatment.”
--- Dr. Diane Duncan, Fort Collins CO
featuring RFAL™ Technology
53. Physician Testimonial
“I consider BodyTite the next-generation in non-excisional skin-tightening
devices – more evolutionary than revolutionary. … The ability to modulate the
skin surface temperature is better than any other system on the market.”
“This should be an easy procedure to market to patients because I feel it fills a
need. We’ll be able to achieve more skin tightening in a lipo patient with loose
skin compared to other existing modalities. These patients may no longer
require a tummy tuck. Plus, practices should be able to charge a premium for
that benefit.”

This morning I saw this 35 year old 5' 4" 150 pound woman 2 weeks after her
limited abdominoplasty and RF abdominal liposuction as marked. She has no
pain and no problem healing and I feel an incredible early result not
previously achievable by any means.

“My results are amazing! BodyTite has totally re-contoured my figure and
changed my body type completely. It feels like my skin has tightened and
formed back to my body and I can see I don’t have saggy skin or rolls
anymore. Three years after having my baby, I feel like I have a new body
image and my shape back.”
“I was treated a month ago and already I feel more active and lighter, with a
much better figure. I am a new person with a totally new shape and outlook
about my body image.”
“During and after my treatment I never felt any pain. I would describe it as a
general soreness, but not painful at all.”
