Enerzea Power Solution Pvt Ltd (EPSPL) provides solutions with high rate
Biomethanation process technology, that helps in capturing methane from a

The biogas thus produced is 55-60% methane and 45-40% CO2 and is used
                to generate power.

 Biogas reduces global Green House Gas emissions:
               • The methane that would have otherwise escaped into the atmosphere due
to decay of the organic feedstock is now captured and burnt to produce
                 power.
               • Biomass replaces the use of conventional fossil fuels that would have
added to the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Our Digesters are designed for high rate digestion and operate in a

The digesters are continuously stirred (mechanical mixing) tank
reactors with submersible impellers (single or multiple mixers) 

High-Rate digestion is characterized by higher loading rates of volatile solids
per m3 of the digester per day, a shorter retention time and a reduced size

                  cost component of the plant)

Benefits of Digester Residue ( Biofertilizer)

 Contains micro and macronutrients, such as Nitrogen, Phosphorus
                                                 
and Potassium and a fair amount of Manganese, Zinc, Copper and Iron which
               increases the microbial activity.
             
Carbon as an energy source and other nutrients are provided to soil microbes, which
result in augmentation of their population. This helps in organic matter decomposition,
                                        
biological nitrogen fixation, solubilization of insoluble phosphates and availability of
                  plant micro-nutrient’s
             
                                                                          
There is improvement in soil structure, water holding capacity, drainage ban exchange
capacity, seed germination and reduction of soil erosion
             
                                                              
Humid substances released as byproducts of soil microbial activity increase the
efficiency of bio and chemical fertilizers.
              
Proliferation of plant parasite, soil nematodes is checked
              
Resistance of plants to pest attack is increased

Bmp 370 kw grid connected power plants

  • 1. Biomethanation Power Plants (BPP) Sustainable Wealth Creation Enerzea’s mission “To provide Eco-Friendly, Reliable, Economical and and Sustainable Power, Combined Power & heat Solutions par Excellence” Strictly Private & Confidential. For Limited Distribution only 1
  • 2. BPP as a source of Renewable Energy  Enerzea Power Solution Pvt Ltd (EPSPL) provides solutions with high rate Biomethanation process technology, that helps in capturing methane from a   feedstock of green biomass, poultry-litter, cow-dung and other biodegradable sources   The biogas thus produced is 55-60% methane and 45-40% CO2 and is used to generate power.    Biogas reduces global Green House Gas emissions: • The methane that would have otherwise escaped into the atmosphere due to decay of the organic feedstock is now captured and burnt to produce power. • Biomass replaces the use of conventional fossil fuels that would have added to the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere.   EPSPL provides a complete Turnkey/EPC solution to project developers to set up Biomethanation power plants. Strictly Private & Confidential. For Limited Distribution only 2
  • 3. Biomethanation Technology  Biomethanation is the process of producing biogas from organic wastes using  Anaerobic Digestion. There are two types of Anaerobic Digestion process: Mesophilic Thermophilic digestion digestion Temperature Temperature 20-45ºC > 45ºC pH=6.5-8.0 pH=6.5-8.0 Retention time of Retention time of 15 to 30 days 12 to 15 days Requires lesser Requires greater energy input and energy input and lower cost of higher cost of operation. operation. Strictly Private & Confidential. For Limited Distribution only 3
  • 4. EPSPL’s Biomethanation Technology EPSPL provides digesters that are Continuously Stirred tank reactors operating in Mesophilic range. Salient features of our Biomethanation plant are:    Mesophilic digestion process-    Anaerobic down flow Mesophilic fermentation.    Biomass feed- continuous type.    Fermentation at constant temperature & pH.    Continuous agitation of fermented slurry.    Effective scrubbing in order to achieve cleaner and safer biogas.   Power plant based on Otto cycle gas engine-generator to convert thermal energy in biogas to electricity. Strictly Private & Confidential. For Limited Distribution only 4

For Limited Distribution only 5
  • 6. Design Uniqueness of Digester   Our Digesters are designed for high rate digestion and operate in a  Mesophilic range with an optimum residence time of 20-24 days.  The digesters are continuously stirred (mechanical mixing) tank reactors with submersible impellers (single or multiple mixers)   specially designed on the principles of non-Newtonian Rheology.  Enhanced agitation and mixing is achieved by recirculation of slurry back   into the digester using positive displacement pumps.  Efficient mixing technology forms the basis of a high-rate and high-yield   digestion process.  High-Rate digestion is characterized by higher loading rates of volatile solids per m3 of the digester per day, a shorter retention time and a reduced size  of the digester and hence lower project cost (digester cost being a prime cost component of the plant)  Strictly Private & Confidential. For Limited Distribution only 6
  • 7. Advantages of Efficient Mixing in Digester Providing good contact between active biomass and input feed. Minimizes foaming Providing physical, and formation of a chemical and scum layer and biological uniformity deposition of solids. within the digester. Preventing pH and temperature gradient Distributing the organics and hence higher and diluting the efficiency of conversion inhibitory substances of organics to methane within the digester. gas. Utilizing the digester volume effectively. Strictly Private & Confidential. For Limited Distribution only 7
