The SJSU Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES), established in 2008, facilitates access for students to industry professionals and organizes events to enhance members' interests in biomedical engineering. The BMES also engages in community service to address unmet needs and is planning the first Bay Area biomedical device conference. They seek campus resources to support their growing initiatives and appreciate Dean Wei's consideration.

4. Contribution to Members The BMES Provides targeted events that will enhance and expand the member’s interest in the biomedical field.

5. Contribution to the Community BMES believes in using our time and energy to help organizations helping those with unmet needs.

6. Upcoming Event: BMD Conference Sponsored by Boston Scientific, the BMES is planning to organize the first bay area biomedical device conference taking place at San Jose State University.

7. Need for Campus Resources With our big initiatives and growing number of members, we’re asking for your assistance to help us establish a space in the University.
