 Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS):- The
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Registration ensures the
quality, safety, and reliability of products in the Indian market.
 Purpose:-
1. Ensures product quality and consumer safety.
2. Mandatory for certain products under Indian law.
 Applicability: Required for both domestic manufacturers and
importers for certain categories of products.

Step 1 – Identify Product Category
 Research Requirements: Identify whether your product is on the
list of mandatory BIS registration categories.
