2. EXPLANATION
Birds are the members of vertebrate animals
that have feathers and wings. It is estimated
that there are approximately 8800-10200
bird species throughout the world, ranging
from the smallest such as hummingbirds to
the biggest one such as ostriches. Generally,
they can fly in the air. But some of them
cannot fly despite having wings. The birds
that cannot fly such as: chicken, ostrich,
duck and wild duck, while penguins are a
good swimmers animals.
3. They have a morphology which is different one
another. This difference is adapted to their
environment and food. For example its beak is so
various such as beak shaped, hooked, long, small
and large. The difference is adjusted to the type
of their food. For example: the eagle has a strong
hooked beak for tearing flesh. Its claw also has
different shape. Some of them have a membrane
such as in the duck legs. This membrane helps
them to swim. Also, there are birds with strong
claws like a hawk. Hawk’s foot is designed for
gripping their prey.
4. They have provided tremendous benefits to human life.
Some birds, such as chickens, turkeys, geese and ducks
have been bred for a long time and been important
source of protein for humans either its meat or eggs
