Linga Pooja Dr. Shriniwas Janardan Kashalikarsiddhayess
Ā
The document discusses the meaning and significance of linga pooja or worship of the lingam. It states that there are three basic phenomena in the universe: formation, maintenance, and destruction, similar to anabolism, catabolism, and metabolism. However, from an Advaita philosophical perspective, these are mere contingencies and the true substratum or field in which they appear is beyond time and is Shiva. Lingam represents this supreme being. It goes on to say that stories from the Linga Purana about Brahma and Vishnu should not be taken literally, and linga worship signifies remembering one's true nature, since doing so directly is difficult. Specific days and places
Holistic Approach To Saving Energy Dr Shriiwas Kashalikarsiddhayess
Ā
The document discusses holistic approaches to saving energy through lifestyle changes and namasmarn, or remembering the name of God. It provides several suggestions for saving energy like switching off electronics when not in use, using stairs instead of elevators, and walking more. Namasmarn is described as a meditation practice that helps unify one's physiological self with their true self through remembering God or a guru. Regular practice of namasmarn can provide benefits like rising above worldly concerns and manifesting positive transactions in one's life. The document encourages generating new ideas for promoting health, welfare, and sustainable energy use.
The document discusses whether humans are helplessly controlled by their hormones and neurotransmitters or if they can gain freedom from this influence. It questions if current laws and environments support emancipation from being controlled by bodily chemicals. The author suggests that it is worthwhile to review whether people are truly helpless prisoners of their body's hormones and neurotransmitters or if creating the right intellectual, political, and material conditions could help free people from this perceived helplessness.
Alcohol And Tobacco Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikarsiddhayess
Ā
This document discusses alcohol and tobacco without focusing on their benefits or toxic effects, which are widely known. It argues that the fanatic righteousness of both supporters and opponents adds to problems rather than solving them. Instead of analyzing various angles and issues, the document is interested in the power of empowerment, enrichment, solace, stress management, fusion, bonding, unification, and uniting so-called sinners with the pious. It suggests that through NAMASMARAN (remembering the divine), everyone can experience these powers irrespective of habits or addictions, without guilt or pride.
Namasmaran And Romance Dr. Shriniwas Janardan Kashalikarsiddhayess
Ā
The document discusses how NAMASMARAN, which the author initially thought was only for ascetics and retired people, can actually play an important role in everyday life. NAMASMARAN is a process of conscious evolution that makes individuals more objective, open, considerate, and able to react in an understanding manner by reducing impulsiveness. Practicing NAMASMARAN from a young age can enrich life and blossom and immortalize romance throughout life.
Assertion And Holistic Health Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikarsiddhayess
Ā
The document discusses the need for lawmakers around the world to work together to update constitutions and laws to suit changing times and conditions. It suggests studying scriptures objectively to provide useful wisdom and pooling the knowledge of philosophy, psychology, physiology, biology, economy and industry. Developing impeccable universal laws requires inner cleansing to become more objective in perception, thinking, feelings and actions. This assertion is essential for managing total stress, holistic health, superliving and blossoming of both individuals and society, which it is said requires NAMASMARAN.
More About Equality Dr. Shriniwas Kashalikarsiddhayess
Ā
The document discusses the concept of equality and Namasmaran. It argues that imposing uniformity on things like culture, food, and salaries stems from misguided trends and does not lead to true equality. True equality embraces diversity and creating an environment where all can blossom. It describes Namasmaran as remembering the name of God, gurus, or other symbols of one's true self. This practice helps reunify one's physiological self with their true spiritual self and leads to unification with cosmic consciousness. Namasmaran is considered a culmination of yoga and meditation practices that helps one rise above worldly concerns to manifest higher actions.

The document discusses the idea of value-based education and some issues with its implementation. It notes that (1) societal and global values outside of any education system strongly influence students and educators. It also states that (2) common people follow celebrity role models promoted by media that glorify superficial individualism. Additionally, (3) the value systems that influence the creation of laws and legal systems shape societal beliefs. The document argues that (6) teaching arbitrary values alone is ineffective and that (7) regular reflection through namasmarn can help reconnect people with their inner strength to rise above superficiality and fragmented thinking.
Yoga is conceived in many ways and is a connection between one's global perspective, thoughts, emotions, and actions in every sphere of life. It also connects metabolic, endocrine, autonomic, and central nervous system activities as well as the right and left cerebral cortex. This yoga can be achieved through NAMASMARAN, as one can verify.

Namasmaran helps to reunify one's physiological being with one's true self through reorienting individual consciousness with objective cosmic consciousness. It is described as the "yoga of yoga" as it is the culmination of consciousness associated with all spiritual practices and activities in the universe. Remembering one's true self through symbols is said to provide a "super-bounty of cosmic consciousness" and allow one to rise above material concerns.
This document discusses the concept of rebirth. It argues that while our bodies are constantly changing as cells die and are replaced, our consciousness and identity remain constant. Rebirth is observed in some historical figures who seemed to have memories and identities that spanned multiple lifetimes. However, rebirth cannot be scientifically proven since consciousness cannot be clearly defined or identified as a separate entity from the body.

Storyboard on Skin- Innovative Learning (M-pharm) 2nd sem. (Cosmetics)MuskanShingari
Ā
Skin is the largest organ of the human body, serving crucial functions that include protection, sensation, regulation, and synthesis. Structurally, it consists of three main layers: the epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis (subcutaneous layer).
1. **Epidermis**: The outermost layer primarily composed of epithelial cells called keratinocytes. It provides a protective barrier against environmental factors, pathogens, and UV radiation.
2. **Dermis**: Located beneath the epidermis, the dermis contains connective tissue, blood vessels, hair follicles, and sweat glands. It plays a vital role in supporting and nourishing the epidermis, regulating body temperature, and housing sensory receptors for touch, pressure, temperature, and pain.
3. **Hypodermis**: Also known as the subcutaneous layer, it consists of fat and connective tissue that anchors the skin to underlying structures like muscles and bones. It provides insulation, cushioning, and energy storage.
Skin performs essential functions such as regulating body temperature through sweat production and blood flow control, synthesizing vitamin D when exposed to sunlight, and serving as a sensory interface with the external environment.
Maintaining skin health is crucial for overall well-being, involving proper hygiene, hydration, protection from sun exposure, and avoiding harmful substances. Skin conditions and diseases range from minor irritations to chronic disorders, emphasizing the importance of regular care and medical attention when needed.
Gene therapy can be broadly defined as the transfer of genetic material to cure a disease or at least to improve the clinical status of a patient.
One of the basic concepts of gene therapy is to transform viruses into genetic shuttles, which will deliver the gene of interest into the target cells.
Safe methods have been devised to do this, using several viral and non-viral vectors.
In the future, this technique may allow doctors to treat a disorder by inserting a gene into a patient's cells instead of using drugs or surgery.
The biggest hurdle faced by medical research in gene therapy is the availability of effective gene-carrying vectors that meet all of the following criteria:
Protection of transgene or genetic cargo from degradative action of systemic and endonucleases,
Delivery of genetic material to the target site, i.e., either cell cytoplasm or nucleus,
Low potential of triggering unwanted immune responses or genotoxicity,
Economical and feasible availability for patients .
Viruses are naturally evolved vehicles that efficiently transfer their genes into host cells.
Choice of viral vector is dependent on gene transfer efficiency, capacity to carry foreign genes, toxicity, stability, immune responses towards viral antigens and potential viral recombination.
There are a wide variety of vectors used to deliver DNA or oligo nucleotides into mammalian cells, either in vitro or in vivo.
The most common vector system based on retroviruses, adenoviruses, herpes simplex viruses, adeno associated viruses.

GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS AND GASTRITIS
Osvaldo Bernardo Muchanga
Gastrointestinal Infections
GASTROINTESTINAL INFECTIONS result from the ingestion of pathogens that cause infections at the level of this tract, generally being transmitted by food, water and hands contaminated by microorganisms such as E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Vibrio cholerae, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Rotavirus among others that are generally contained in feces, thus configuring a FECAL-ORAL type of transmission.
Among the factors that lead to the occurrence of gastrointestinal infections are the hygienic and sanitary deficiencies that characterize our markets and other places where raw or cooked food is sold, poor environmental sanitation in communities, deficiencies in water treatment (or in the process of its plumbing), risky hygienic-sanitary habits (not washing hands after major and/or minor needs), among others.
These are generally consequences (signs and symptoms) resulting from gastrointestinal infections: diarrhea, vomiting, fever and malaise, among others.
The treatment consists of replacing lost liquids and electrolytes (drinking drinking water and other recommended liquids, including consumption of juicy fruits such as papayas, apples, pears, among others that contain water in their composition).
To prevent this, it is necessary to promote health education, improve the hygienic-sanitary conditions of markets and communities in general as a way of promoting, preserving and prolonging PUBLIC HEALTH.
Gastritis and Gastric Health
Gastric Health is one of the most relevant concerns in human health, with gastrointestinal infections being among the main illnesses that affect humans.
Among gastric problems, we have GASTRITIS AND GASTRIC ULCERS as the main public health problems. Gastritis and gastric ulcers normally result from inflammation and corrosion of the walls of the stomach (gastric mucosa) and are generally associated (caused) by the bacterium Helicobacter pylor, which, according to the literature, this bacterium settles on these walls (of the stomach) and starts to release urease that ends up altering the normal pH of the stomach (acid), which leads to inflammation and corrosion of the mucous membranes and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
In addition to bacterial infections, gastritis and gastric ulcers are associated with several factors, with emphasis on prolonged fasting, chemical substances including drugs, alcohol, foods with strong seasonings including chilli, which ends up causing inflammation of the stomach walls and/or corrosion. of the same, resulting in the appearance of wounds and consequent gastritis or ulcers, respectively.
Among patients with gastritis and/or ulcers, one of the dilemmas is associated with the foods to consume in order to minimize the sensation of pain and discomfort.

This presentation gives information on the pharmacology of Prostaglandins, Thromboxanes and Leukotrienes i.e. Eicosanoids. Eicosanoids are signaling molecules derived from polyunsaturated fatty acids like arachidonic acid. They are involved in complex control over inflammation, immunity, and the central nervous system. Eicosanoids are synthesized through the enzymatic oxidation of fatty acids by cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase enzymes. They have short half-lives and act locally through autocrine and paracrine signaling.

PGx Analysis in VarSeq: A Userās PerspectiveGolden Helix
Ā
Since our release of the PGx capabilities in VarSeq, weāve had a few months to gather some insights from various use cases. Some users approach PGx workflows by means of array genotyping or what seems to be a growing trend of adding the star allele calling to the existing NGS pipeline for whole genome data. Luckily, both approaches are supported with the VarSeq software platform. The genotyping method being used will also dictate what the scope of the tertiary analysis will be. For example, are your PGx reports a standalone pipeline or would your labās goal be to handle a dual-purpose workflow and report on PGx + Diagnostic findings.
The purpose of this webcast is to:
Discuss and demonstrate the approaches with array and NGS genotyping methods for star allele calling to prep for downstream analysis.
Following genotyping, explore alternative tertiary workflow concepts in VarSeq to handle PGx reporting.
Moreover, we will include insights users will need to consider when validating their PGx workflow for all possible star alleles and options you have for automating your PGx analysis for large number of samples. Please join us for a session dedicated to the application of star allele genotyping and subsequent PGx workflows in our VarSeq software.
