2. PROKARYOTIC CELL:-
 It is simplest form of the cell.
 Sizemay be 0.1-5um.
 Pro means before an karyon means nucleus, which means cell lack true nucleus and have one
envelope system of organisation.
 Prokaryotic cell occurs in the bacteria eg :- cynobacteria, mycoplasma.
 It has four basic shapes – spherical (cocci), rod (bacilli), halical(spirocheates), comma
shaped(vibrio).
 70s types of ribosomes present in it.
 These cell has only cell membrane usually surrounded by rigid cell wall, madeup of
peptidogycon the cell wall or may , may not be surrounded by capsule.

3.  Chromosome is single and
circular double helical
DNA.
 Reproducation via asexual
mode id mainly binary
fission.
 Locomotion via flagella
and some prokaryotes
causes pillu for
attachment.
 The mode of nutrition is
mainly Heterotrophic some
may cause extra
chromosomal DNA is
called plasmid.

4. EUKARYOTIC CELL :-
 The eukaryotic cell involves all animals, plants, fungi and protzoa either unicellular or multicellular.
 80s types ribosomes are present in it.
 Their cell size range from 10-100 um.
 They have complex organization as compare to prokaryotic cell.
 The complexity of cell include the presence of various organelle nucleus, ER, gogli apparatus,
Mitrochontria etc
 Well organised nucleus, surrounded by nuclear membrane containing nuclear plasma, Nucleolus,
Chormatid.
 Reproducation takes place via a gamate formation ( sexual reproduction) .
 Their chromosome under goes DNA replication, during cell division and maintain no. Of
chromosome via meiosis during gamate formation.
