India's first defence exhibition featuring live demonstrations and unmanned aerial vehicles has received significant interest, with over 430 companies confirmed to participate so far, and that number expected to increase to over 700. The 2016 DefExpo in Goa in March will be the largest edition yet, with 54 nations and most major global defence manufacturers participating. In addition to defence equipment, homeland security will be a major focus of the exhibition. The event has moved from Delhi to Goa, where 18,000 square meters of space has already been sold and a special area for live vehicle demonstrations planned.
