4. LAND ACQUISITION
Though the process of land acquisition is the responsibility
of the owner of the coal mine, our customer-oriented team
extends its support wholeheartedly. The initiatives taken
include liaising with Government Departments for early
completion of the process as well as related issues such as
replacement and rehabilitation for the Land owners,
villagers and so on.
COAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Fuelled by the passion to raise standards, the coal from the
coal benches/face is extracted with utmost care while
laying adequate emphasis on avoiding contamination of
waste rock, particularly where the thickness of coal seams
is very less. Furthermore, proper supervision is made while
extracting as well as loading of coal into trucks by the
excavator operator.
LOCAL LIAISON
The top brass at BGR Mining & Infra Ltd. keenly gathers
information related to local issues and addresses them
properly and immediately. Their initiative reflects in the
harmonious works in Amrapali Project of Jharkhand State.
Similar local issues etc. have been tackled amicably here
and there.Since the projects mostly exist in remote areas,
away from commercial opportunities and poor transport
system, the trouble shooters are resolved through work
opportunities for a win-win situation.

SIGNIFICANT ACHIEVEMENTS
• Excavated 48.82 LBCM of OB at Nigahi OCP with conventional equipment in a Single month i.e., March, 2015.
• Extracted 5.11 MT of Coal in period of 12 months at Amrapali OCP.
• Rehabilitation of PAPs who were living near dump area at Nigahi OCP to new location by constructing 40 houses.
• Executed Diversion of River Amri, Umrer Project in WCL.
• Deployed own HEMM, 12 cum hydraulic excavators in combination with 100 T dumpers at KTK OCP of SCCL.
• Deployed Surface Miners at Amrapali OCP and Lakhanpur OCP for coal extraction.
• Carried out Drilling & Controlled Blasting with shock tube initiation system at many projects of SCCL.
• Construction of 2 Road Bridges at Ramakrishnapur & 1 Road Bridge at BLOCK B OCP.
• We have established good rapport with local people and various Govt. agencies which enabled us for early
commencement of projects and ensured exposure of coal within record time of 2-6 months.
