A variety of revision techniques should be used, including those suited to different learning styles. Regular practice of past papers and questions is emphasized as the best way to prepare for exams. Maintaining a positive attitude and planning relaxation into the schedule are also advised.
The document provides tips for effective revision in preparation for exams. It recommends starting revision early and creating a schedule to plan time for different subjects. Geese fly in a V formation to increase their flying range by 71%. When a goose falls out of formation, it feels increased drag and quickly returns to formation. The lead goose will rotate back when tired, and another will take its place at the front. Geese honk to encourage those in front and two geese will drop out to help any sick or injured goose until it can fly again or dies.
A 30 min presentation I've delivered to GCSE students prior to their study leave period, offering strategies and ideas to inform their revision strategies
1) Geese flying in a V formation increase their flying range by 71% compared to flying alone, and people who share a common direction and sense of community can be more efficient.
2) If a goose falls out of formation, it quickly feels resistance and returns to formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird in front. Similarly, it is best for people to stay with others headed to the same place.
3) Geese take turns leading and rotate to the back to rest, showing that sharing leadership and tasks pays off. As with geese, people are interdependent.

Geese fly in a V formation to gain aerodynamic benefits from the flock, demonstrating that working together can increase effectiveness. Individual geese support the flock by taking turns as leaders, accepting help from others, and caring for those that are wounded. The lessons from geese emphasize the importance of cooperation, shared leadership, and mutual assistance within a group.
The document discusses the importance of self-discipline for students. It notes some common excuses for lacking self-discipline, such as believing it will make one lose freedom or individuality. However, self-discipline is presented as a skill that can be learned by becoming aware of resistance to actions and overcoming that resistance, while still allowing one to be themselves. Developing self-discipline is likened to building a muscle that can be relied upon even when motivation is low.
Self-discipline is the ability to control one's thoughts, actions, and feelings to accomplish goals even when faced with temptations or challenges. It is built through practices like accepting reality, using willpower to overcome laziness and negative habits, working hard consistently through both easy and difficult tasks, being industrious with one's time, and persisting in continued action even when motivation wavers. Developing self-discipline can help people achieve long-term goals by resisting immediate desires and making choices that provide future benefits in addition to present rewards.
Motivation is like an accelerator in a vehicle. A vehicle keeps moving at the pace decided by its accelerator. The moment accelerator is reduced, vehicle’s speed reduces and it may come to a standstill if there is no further acceleration. Alternatively, if brakes are applied, there will be an abrupt reduction in the speed of the vehicle and it may come to a standstill.
This is true to human beings as well. As long as they are motivated they keep working and producing extraordinary results. The moment there is a drop in their acceleration (motivation), results start diminishing. Of course, applying brakes (dissatisfaction/demotivation) certainly bring them to a halt. The only difference is that unlike a vehicle, human beings have different types of accelerator and brake.
Therefore, the book, Why My Horse Doesn't Drink' will help readers to identify the ways that may accelerate or slow down the speed of their team members. Chapter ‘How to motivate’ talks about the points that accelerate and chapter ‘How not to demotivate’ explains the factors that may work as brakes to performance. Thereby readers will be able to make best use of their vehicle (Team Members).

Motivation refers to factors that arouse, direct, and sustain human behavior. There are several theories of motivation, including drive theory which proposes that internal drives or needs push people towards goals, and incentive theory which suggests that external rewards or goals pull people to act. Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory also explains motivation and proposes that people are motivated to fulfill lower level basic needs before pursuing higher level growth needs. Managers can create a motivating work climate by setting clear expectations, being fair and consistent, developing teamwork, recognizing contributions, allowing autonomy and growth, and addressing individual needs and values.

How to Fix the Import Error in the Odoo 17Celine George
An import error occurs when a program fails to import a module or library, disrupting its execution. In languages like Python, this issue arises when the specified module cannot be found or accessed, hindering the program's functionality. Resolving import errors is crucial for maintaining smooth software operation and uninterrupted development processes.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
