first Sign-Up Form

When Done Click “Create
Sign Up Form”

Choose “Classic” For Form Type

Let’s Create a
New List first

The Emails Captured will
be stored in this List

Click “Create New List”

For Tutorial Purposes lets
name it “Tokyo Ryukan List”
Note : I do not own the Images from this Tutorial. This is for Educational purposes only

Enter New List name
And click “Create”

For Our Signup Form lets
name it “Tokyo Ryukan Form”

Click “Save and Next”
when done

Let’s Choose a Form Design

Choose a Template here

Preview Appears Here

Form Fields can be added or
edited here

Form Details can be modified
here

Let’s Choose This Design

Click “Load Template” to
Proceed

Let’s ask only for the
Email Address and a Name
in the Form

Now Edit the Label of
this 2 fields

Upload a Logo by
clicking here

Choose the Logo Image file
from your computer and click
“Open”

Then Click “Upload”

Now Let’s Edit the Button Text

We now have a new
SIGN-UP Form!

You may do further editing of
the Form format by going here

For now Let’s proceed and
click “Save and Next”

Modify the Names and
Content you want to change

Let’s Test our Sample
Welcome Email Message

Enter Your E-mail Here and
click “Send Test Email”

Test Email has been sent

For the Confirmation Settings,
choose this for standard “Thank
You Page”

Or choose here to direct it to a
Custom Thank You Page of Yours

For Confirmed Opt-in Page, Click
here for standard format

In our case lets use standard for
both types and click
“Save and Next”

Let’s Check our Email Inbox
first to check the test Email

This is the Preview of the
Test Email

Your prospect should receive the
same Email once they sign up!

Now Back to Benchmark, this is
the Publish Page

You will have options to place the
form directly on your website

Pop-up from a button on your
website

Pop-up from a text link on your
website

Or add a sign-up form to your
Facebook Fan Page

Let’s place it directly to our
website click here

Copy the Signup Code Form
and place it in our Website

You may Forward this Code
to your Web Developer or
install it Yourself

To install it in our
Wordpress Blog, go to the
Admin Page of your Site

This may vary per Platform
but for our example we are
using hosted Wordpress

Click Appearance >
Widgets

Choose “Text” Widget
check “Sidebar” and click
“Add Widget”

The Text Widget Should
now be in the sidebar
options

Drag and Hold “Text” Widget
up to be second in the
Sidebar Sequence

Click “Text” Widget
To Expand

Type Your Title Here

Paste the HTML Code from
Benchmark Here and Click
“Save”

Load Your Website and it
should be there in the sidebar

Congratulations! You’ve just made a
Sign-Up Form for your website!

Now Let’s a send a sample
Email to our Subscribers

Go back to the Dashboard and assume
that 3 people have signed up in the form

Click Emails at the Top Menu

Select the Drag and Drop Editor

Take the Time to read and fill
up the forms below

Change the Subject, From
Name and Email Name

Click here if you want to
modify the From and Reply
Email Address

Modify the Advanced Options
if needed

When Ready Click
“Save and Next”

Select the Contact List you
want to send an Email to and
click “Save and Next”

You can Choose pre-designed
Layouts

Or Templates

Let’s Choose This

Let’s Delete all unnecessary elements
for this Email, click header

Click on the Trash Bin Icon to Delete

Edit the Contents of your Layout,
double click this

Edit all the Necessary elements/colors
until finished

Once Finished Click “Save and Next”

You have the Option to Schedule your
Delivery, lets choose “send
immediately”

Click Send and Wait for 10 minutes
before it arrives in your Inbox

Check your inbox – this is how our
email appears

Click Here to Access our Reports

Click Here to check how our
Email is doing

Here are the Real Time Statistics
of that Email
