HOW TO USE

Open any browser you have

For this tutorial we’ll use
Google Browser

Type mailchimp.com

Next, you’ll be prompted to
MailChimp homepage

Click on Sign up

Enter your email

Create a username

Create a password

Click Get Started

Check your email to
activate account

click ACTIVATE ACCOUNT button
from email

Next you’ll be prompted to this page

Confirm humanity to proceed

Next, it’s time to setup your account

Log in your first name

Log in your last name

Click Continue button

Next, provide name of business

Provide website address

Click continue button

Next, fill in company address

Address 2 is optional

Fill in your city

Fill in your state/province

Fill in your zip code

Select your country

Click CONTINUE button

Provide additional information

Next, click CONTINUE button

Next, connect your social media
to maximize reach

Click the “+” to connect to Facebook

Facebook Log in screen pops up

Log in to your Facebook account
to link MailChimp

Or click the “+” to link to Twitter

Twitter Log in screen pops up

Log in to your Twitter account
to link MailChimp

Once done connecting your social account
click CONTINUE button

This window shows up

Select options for more
MailChimp support

Next, click LET’S GO to create
your 1st mailing list

Next, this page shows up

Click LEARN MORE for more
tips and information

Or click ONWARD to continue
to your Dashboard

Next, this is your Dashboard

Click here to create our
first mailing list

Type in your list name

Provide email address

Provide business name

Create a message how people got on your list

This gets automatically filled up
from prior account setup

Put a check based on your preference

Click SAVE once done

Great! Now we have created our Mailing List

Time to add contacts to our mailing list

Click IMPORT SUBSCRIBERS
if you’re adding a long list

Next, this windows pops up

Select your preferred procedure
to import contacts

For this tutorial we opted
COPY/PASTE from file

Then click NEXT

Next, this page comes up

Open your mailing list and copy

Paste your contact list

Check to confirm billing plan
for free accounts

Then click NEXT to continue

You’ll be redirected to this page
with default settings

Make changes depending
on your preference

Click NEXT once done

Now we have successfully imported
our contact list

To edit information on contacts
simply click on a name

Click EDIT

Apply changes

Click SAVE to apply changes

Then click MANAGE CONTACTS > VIEW CONTACTS
to go back

Now time to create SIGN UP FORMS
click here

There are several ways
to create SIGN UP FORMS

Let’s click GENERAL FORMS

Here we modify our GENERAL FORMS

On the drop-down list we have
different forms

For this tutorial we’ll modify SIGNUP

We’ll put a check so subscribers
have options

Next, click to edit the message part

Next, this page shows up

Click icon to add image or logo
to your message

This page displays,
click UPLOAD to select file

Locate and select your file
then click OPEN

Wait for uploading to complete

Image is now uploaded

For additional changes
you can edit size here

Change STYLE OPTIONS here

Edit your image with Photo Editor

If done click SAVE & INSERT IMAGE

Then add your message

Click SAVE & CLOSE when done

Back to our Signup form

Click DESIGN IT for additional changes

Click a field to select and make changes

Remove or Add a Field
by clicking “–”or “+” sign

More additional changes in
the form here

Like changing the background color

Paste link to FB or Twitter
to post Signup form

Another way to create SIGNUP FORMS
is by EMBEDDED

This is the CLASSIC format

This is the SUPER SLIM format

This is the HORIZONTAL format

This is the NAKED format

This is the ADVANCED format

To edit, make changes here

Then copy & paste code in your website

To go back to your Dashboard click on
the monkey face

Now time to
create a CAMPAIGN

On your Dashboard click Create Campaign

Create an internal campaign name

Select a campaign type

For this tutorial we’ll create a
Regular Campaign

Next, click Create button

Choose which list you want it to be sent

Provide a title

Then click next

Select a template

Drag text to the left

The text block is now ready for editing

On the right is the editable box

Next click browse to add logo or image

Next, this page displays

Select your image then click insert

Here you create the content
of your message

Select a block to edit or delete
from this icons

To edit the Footer select the block

And make the changes and links here

Once done with our campaign
click on Confirm

This page shows up

Click Send button to send campaign

Click Send now

Campaign was successfully sent

Perfect!
Now, start creating your list
and send your
NEWSLETTER or CAMPAIGN
NOW!
