On October 16-17th 2020, a community art event was created by Queenstown’s artists, galleries and The Unconformity to celebrate all things Queenie. Belonging (Queenie Weekend), a temporary digital light installation, was Mandy’s contribution to this spontaneous, artistic weekend.

On October 16-17th 2020, a community art event was created by Queenstown’s artists, galleries and The
Unconformity to celebrate all things Queenie. Belonging (Queenie Weekend), a temporary digital
light installation, was Mandy’s contribution to this spontaneous, artistic weekend.
Mandy’s Queenstown landscape paintings were illuminated onto the historic Galley Museum and the
Old Evans Store, highlighting how art, history, architecture and landscape can merge for the
enjoyment of the community and visitors.
Providing a meaningful and colourful welcome to Queenstown, Belonging (Queenie Weekend)
confirmed a strong sense of identity, a connection to the iconic landscape and the knowledge that
belonging comes in many guises.
