My interst in the area of WASH and Public health project has promoted me to forward my resume for your
review and considration. I posses Bacheler of science degree in Environmental heath science from
Haromaya Universty faculity of health science.
I have over eight years progressive professional experiences in WASH and public health projects in both
emergency and development programs; working with different international NGOs such as, TDC PLC, American
Refugee Committee(ARC) in South Sudan Equatorial state Kapoita South, International Rescue Committee(IRC),
People In need(PIN), Water Acton and UNICEF as a Hygiene Promotion Specialist, International consultant on
Hygiene Promotion trainer, Sanitation and Hygiene program Officer, assistance Wash program coordinator ,
Health and Sanitation Project Officer and WASH project coordinator respectively. Currently I am working with a
private company, Tabor Development Consultancy (TDC)PLC, as a Hygiene Promotion Specialist based in Hawassa,
Ethiopia.
In the posted posetion I have remarkable experiences working in communities with different geographical, economical,
cultural, social backgrounds such as Somali pastoralist, refugees, highlanders, agrarians etc During my stay with the
above mentioned organizations and communities, I expanded my professional experiences, knowledge and skills on
WASH and Public health intervention such as assessment, data collection and analysis methodologies, Conducting
different training on Hygiene promotion and sanitation tools and approach(PHAST,CHAST, CLTS, SLTS, AND PLA)
program design and implementation or project management cycle, human resource management, finance and budget
control, monitoring and evaluation(SMART indicators),community development, capacity building and training,
emergency humanitarian response (SPHERE), advocacy and partnership building, coordination with different
stakeholders, organizing and conducting different workshops for different level stakeholders. Besides, I passed
through different challenges which helped me to develop my psychological and professional fitness to work in any
difficult environment.
Currently I am looking for a work to contribute the world wide effort to the improvement of health of the poor
people living in developing countries by sharing my professional knowledge, experience and skills in WASH
and public health through working with different international NGOs.
In all the above mentioned projects with different international NGOs, WASH is one of the main components
integrated with them. Therefore, I was responsible for the overall proper implementation of the WASH
components including preparing detail implementation/action plan for respective projects, budget controlling, managing
