4. The BBOXX Home is a versatile
solar home system that has
been designed for the rural off-
grid customer, to be sold on
payment plans.
Each unit connects remotely to
our central database to support
automatic switch-off and to
receive repairs and upgrades.
BBOXX has ensured a simplified
activation and installation
process.
It uses a 50W solar panel and a
17Ah SLA battery with remotely
configurable depth of discharge
allowing for customer upgrades.
LED lights
High levels of efficiency and
brightness. 2m or 4m connection
wires provided. This is a basic
customer requirement.
Radio
The radio is the second most
popular product after the lights. It
functions as a portable speaker &
media player.
15” and 24” TVs
Low power (<8W) screen in two
sizes, 15” & 24”. First “desirable”
product for customers.
Entrepreneurs use the TV to
draw neighbours into their
shop/bar/phone stall.
Portable Light
Many customers give feedback
about how much safer they feel
with the added light. Customers
also use it to light up external
rooms, such as kitchens.
