specific industry from Bates alumni and parents in those fields
– Session topics will be based on a specific job functions and industries

product marketing
– The industries we will address in the first group of sessions include:

presenters follow-up questions
• Discussions would be open to all students at Bates and have been designed so they could
participate from any location with Internet access

3. Logistics of the Session
• A web portal has been developed which links live video tools for multiple presenters, online
chat, online spreadsheets and archiving functionality
– These tools create a virtual conference room and allow for presentations to be shown to all participants
as well as for questions to be submitted via an online chat feature
• Sessions will begin with a live webcast, where a moderator introduces the program and
speakers, and then transitions to each speaker. Each speaker will give their presentation,
walking students through the prepared materials which will also be loaded on the site
• After the presentations, the moderator will introduce the Q&A session with the online chat
feature
– Students can submit questions for the panel to the moderator via a web form
– The moderator would then filter questions and direct them to specific panelists
– Panelists would then respond to each question via the online chat
• Benefit: All participants can see the questions and answers
