Hey there, everyone! As the Christmas season comes to a close, I thought it was time for me to do
another post about theatre education. Earlier in the year, I did a few posts on education, including a
quiz about what theatre major to choose in college, out of state schools for theatre, and why it is
important to participate in youth theatre.
Today, I wanted to do a post about the diverse theatre personnel. A lot of time when people think
about theatre, their minds immediately jump to actors, director, producers, costume designers, etc.
Obviously, those jobs are extremely important, but there are other jobs in theatre are essential to the
creation of a successful show.

My virtual child has honestly been super eye opening to me. It has thrown different real life
situations at me in which I had to respond in a specific way, showing me the difficulty of making
a decision on certain situations. I noticed that every decision that I make will affect my child in
their future reactions, ways that they interact with friends and how they act. Reese has put a
significant amount of time into building friendships and relationships with his peers. I
reinforced the importance of friendships and I believe that friendships insure a good emotional
well being. Friendships are people to fall back on in times of need. If your teens have good
support systems, they will do better academically. WETA (2017) states that Talking and
listening play major roles in children s school success. I believe that Reece adjusted to typical
adolescent issues very well. He only had one incident of getting in trouble, in which Reese and
his friends got caught sneaking into the school to play basketball. I stressed the importance of
following rules and how rules are put in place for a reason. Reese never got into drugs or alcohol
but I did have a problem in which pornography was downloaded onto our home computer. I

Philip K. Dick, created a world with fantastic solutions for everyday problems; but too much of a
good thing is a bad thing. In the novel Ubik, author Philip K. Dick suggested that technology is
slowly changing our thoughts and morals to the point that humans can no longer function without it.
What exactly is a moral? According to Google, a moral is a person s standards of behavior or
beliefs concerning what is and what is not acceptable for them to do. In other words it s what a
person believes is the right thing to do; it s what is thought to be what makes you a trustworthy
person.

Technology had been created to allow easy access to the drugs by putting them in vending
