BAS International
Aldie, Virginia ­ February 2016 ­​ Frants Lasse Becker and Neena Sachdev announce the
creation of a new consulting and business, research and advisory firm named BAS
International. BAS International is a joint venture between Frants Lasse Becker and Neena
Sachdev, bringing together more than 50 years of consulting experience by its partners. BAS
International services clients in the private and governmental sectors at the national and
international level. Providing objective advice is essential to the success of BAS International’s
consulting and business advisory practice.
Our Approach
Based upon years of experience and of close relationships with senior and mid­level
management in private as well as governmental organizations, BAS International considers
itself as hands­on extensions of its clients’ management. Our approach is based upon a full
assessment of client needs and interests in a project or business venture and on the basis of
careful assessment of strengths and opportunities offset by weaknesses and threats involved.
We ensure the client’s goals and objectives are successfully achieved.
We work independently and, on occasion, partner with other firms to provide our clients a broad
range of services with the highest quality and at a reasonable cost.

Our Experience
Frants Lasse Becker,​ co­founder of BAS International, has a strong track record and broad
transferable professional experience in domestic and international (US, Canada, and Europe)
economic, business, and market development. He is a results­oriented, experienced hands­on
manager with a mature value system. He is a senior management consultant and advisor with a
broad network of contacts for employers. He has extensive experience of working in
multi­stakeholder and multi­cultural environments in a wide range of industries in the public and
private sectors. He is experienced in project management, project development, project
financing, and in providing consulting and financial advisory services to private companies
seeking to expand foreign operations, with initial emphasis on small and medium sized projects
in a broad range of sectors including: energy, environment, waste, medical, automotive,
composites, tire and rubber, general manufacturing, and IT/Communications. Frants attended
Harvard Business School. He presently serves on the Board of Directors of the Harvard
Business School Alumni Club in Washington, DC.
Neena Sachdev, MBA, PMP,​ co­founder of BAS International, is a results­oriented manager
with a proven track record in strategic planning, budget and financial management, and
program/project management. During her career, she has managed diverse sets of
stakeholders, personnel, processes, and programs and projects. She is a vision­oriented
problem solver with a proven ability to apply diverse knowledge, skills and experiences in
complex situations, intuit solutions and realize goals. Prior to founding BAS International, she
worked both in the US and internationally with clients in Asia, North America, and Europe. She
has also worked with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, Booz­Allen and
Hamilton, and Accenture. Neena holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of
Business, as well as an active internationally recognized Project Management Professional
(PMP) certification.
