Hello Mr. Edward Kirkwood,
Please excuse my late response - I have been conducting underwater welding
classes.
I am interested in learning more about this venture. I'm
assuming that Petey Smith provided my contact
information to you and that this has to do with
underwater salvage?
I'm sending a picture of me over. Please provide one of
yourself - I like to see who I'm dealing with.
Regards,
Ricardo
Dear Sir,

Thanks for your response to my mail.

As indicated in my first missive My names is James D. Ivory, a practicing lawyer here in the UK,
I contacted you in order to seek your candid collaboration in handling a business venture that I
feel would be mutually beneficial to you and me.

May I ask your permission to present you as a beneficiary to the will of one of my trusted
clients? My client and his whole family members where involved in the Sharja air crash on the
25th of July 2004. Since after this unfortunate incidence I have not been able to locate any
member of his family to be presented to his bank for claims of his deposit as the law permits.

It is now about time the government of the United Kingdom convert the money to hers.
Succinctly put, the sum of £6.8 million (Six million Eight Hundred Thousand pounds sterling) is
involved in the venture. You would be required to provide a suitable bank account to receive
this sum. Account required from you could be personal or corporate, new or existing account.
It does not matter the account balance in such an account, but with an assurance that it can
accommodate the total fund mentioned without raising red flag in your country.

On receipt of your response in affirmation of your willingness to work with me I will send to you
full details and more information about myself
and the said funds for your better
understanding. In your reply to this mail, I
would like to know if you possess the
capability to absorb this amount of fund in
your personal or company's account without
problems. If you can, do indicate to enable
further deliberations.

.

You may wish to know the origin of this fund
and how I intend to manage the processes
involved, ensuring that the fund gets to you
unhindered. I shall discuss with you further
after I have read from you, indicating your
acceptance, capability and willingness to
partner with me to actualize the objective.

To enable me put in an official application as required, I would require from you, your personal
information including:

Your full names:

Address:

Telephone and fax numbers. :

For formal introduction, I am a Solicitor and a senior partner to Ivory Chambers located in the
United Kingdom. I am 52 years old, married with 2 children. More information will be given as

some little information about you.

Hello Mr. Edward Kirkwood,

I was wondering how this transaction is going.  I think I sent my proper information to the
claims department, but I haven't heard back.  Have you heard anything?

Regards,

Ricardo

Dear Sir,

This is to acknowledge the receipt of your mail.

Have they contacted in response to the letter of intent our chamber submitted on your behalf? I
will be there tomorrow to ascertain the position of your brief.

Have a good evening and please acknowledge the receipt of this correspondence.

Edward Kirkwood.

Hello Mr. Kirkwood,
No, I have not heard anything.  I'm looking forward to hearing from you tomorrow.

Ricardo

Dear Ricardo,

Good afternoon, I just got back from the bank where I was informed

they have received the document you transmitted but couldn't act on it

because it is incomplete. It was unsigned.

Please endorse (sign) and return to them immediately.

Have a nice day.

Edward Kirkwood.

Dear Mr. Kirkwood,

I have just signed and returned the document.

Regards,

Ricardo

Dear Ricardo

Thanks for the update.

Have a good evening.

Edward Kirkwood

Dear Mr. Kirkwood,

I was wondering if you have an update for me?  I have patiently waited two days for the money
to transfer.  My bank account shows no transactions pending.  Any help?

Thanks,

Ricardo

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your mail.

Please exercise a little more patience as it all has to pass through due process for

funds to be remitted.

I am sure it will be perfected soon.

Best regards,

Edward Kirkwood.
Hello Mr. Kirkwood,

I am still not seeing the money appear in my account.  Are you sure you used the correct
numbers?

Please give me a call at 1-800-225-5324.

Thanks,

Ricardo
Dear Sir,

Thanks for your response.

I don't know why there is this prolong delay. I will be in the bank before closing hours

to ask about the position of your brief.

Will reach you later with details.

Have a great day.

Edward Kirkwood.

How are you today?

I managed to get to the bank before closing hours yesterday, and was able to gather some
information regarding your brief.

I was told you have been contacted and have been invited over to come and sign the fund
released documents.

Did you receive this notification?  Please update me.

Have a good morning.

Edward Kirkwood.

Dear Mr. Kirkwood,

I'm doing fine today - splendid weather here. Absolutely gorgeous. How are things with you?

I have been contacted about signing the release documents. I'm currently traveling, but hope to be over in
the UK on the 20th of May. I might consider having a proxy perform this for me.

Regards,

Ricardo
Mr. Ricardo,
Considering exigencies of time, I would advice doing the signing by proxy. Though
will call for some financial commitment, but will certainly save time and
inconveniences.
I will in the next couple of hours contact the bank for a list of their accredited
attorneys for our contact.

I'll be back with information in this regard.
Hoping you'll have a great day.
Sincerely,
Edward Kirkwood
Mr. Ricardo,
In the list of Ulster bank's accredited attorneys, I've chosen to work with Mr. David
Pester as he seems to be more considerate in his conditions of service.
Mr. David Pester is the Managing Partner to TLT NL LLP Chambers in Belfast. We've
had some useful discussion and he is good to go in holding brief for you.
His conditions of offering the required service include:
1. Issuance of a Letter of Authorization (Limited Power of Attorney) to him. This is
needed done to empower him handle any documentation on your behalf. Specimen
of the letter is here attached for your immediate actions. I did the draft to expedite
action in the process. Please read the letter and sign as required and return to me.
Two (2) formats presented. Sign copy that's more convenient for you.
2. Your piece of identification is required for reference at the bank. (We already
have that at the bank). There will be no need sending one.
3. Fees required include-:
(A). Statutory Signing Fee of £1,600, to be paid to Ulster Bank before signing of
documents could be done.
(B). The Attorney's Consultation and professional service fee is £1,850 (One
Thousand Eight hundred and Fifty pounds sterling). Fee is required to be paid prior
to commencement of his service on the assignment.
Total of fee is £3,450.00 or US$5,800.00
The 3rd item is likely to cause some break in the process. I do not have the whole
fund in my account right now.
If you can offer some inputs in this regard, it shall be appreciated and would take
us through without delay.
Reply at the earliest time possible. Attend to the Power of Attorney and return to
enable the attorney commence actions on signing process while the finance is being
arranged.
Yours sincerely,
Edward Kirkwood.
Mr. Ricardo
I've not received your acknowledgment of the information sent to you earlier today.
We must move with time if our objective is to be realised on schedule.
Keep in touch urgently.
Hoping you're having a great day.
Sincerely yours,
Ed. Kirkwood
Hello Mr Kirkwood,
I'm sorry - I have been underwater. Literally. I've been doing some underwater welding
instruction and have been away from my email.
I see where I need to send money to you to keep the wheels moving over there. Can you
please provide instructions on the most convenient way to do that? I'm hoping you don't say
Paypal, as I hate that company with a vengeance. eBay was such a fine institution until Paypal
got their greedy paws into the mix. And don't even get me started on eBay's fees on sellers.
Like we're made of gold! More like carbohydrates and proteins! Any way, please send the info.
Regards,
Ricardo
Good day Ricardo,
I've got your mail. I share with you, your tight schedule of work underwater. I trust
you'd be safe and secured.
I have contacted the attorney to get us a safe and reliable means to receive his fee
from your domain.
Corresponding information will be relayed to you when I have it shortly after now.
Could you please send me a functional telephone number through which I could
reach you, even when under water. If this 1-210-335-6000 works over there, let me
know in good time. I may call when it's expedient to do so.
I'll be right back with more information as may be received from the attorney.
Enjoy a great weekend.
Ed Kirkwood
Dear Mr. Kirkwood,
Please feel free to call at your convenience. My full name is Ricardo Badmofo Cunningham in
case the exchange asks.
Regards,
Ricardo
Good day Ricardo,
I got feed back from the attorney with the required information for making good
our obligation to the firm.
Coincidentally, he has a corresponding colleague right there in the United States to
whom fund could be directed while equivalent is paid here to the attorney.
The process will invlove you - Mr. Ricardo Badmofo Cunningham, make fund deposit
into the given account information in the United States, send the associated fund
transfer papers (deposit teller or slip) to me for onward delivery to the attorney.
If there's PNC Bank near you in San Antonio, simply walk in and make direct
deposit into the given account and send the relevant deposit papers to me.
This should be of help in speeding up the process, so we could wrap up the
remaining lap of the transaction within next week.
Please use this banking information-:
Name of Bank: PNC
Address of Bank: 2711 NE 187th St., Aventura, FL 33180, USA
Account Nr: 1216081262
Routing Nr: 267084199
Account Name: Anthony T. ZUMHOFE
Let's avail ourselves of this information in good time.
Your reply is anticipated.
Cordial regards,
Ed Kirkwood
Dear Mr Kirkwood,
I tried the PNC website - there are no locations within 100 miles of San Antonio. I will continue
to search...
Regards,
Ricardo
Dear Mr. Ricardo,

The attorney just informed me, that, you do not necessarily need to visit PNC bank to make
deposit. You could make Fund Transfer from your bank to PNC using the information provided.

Visit your bank, request for inter-bank fund transfer information and most likely Form. Do
what's required and get the fund on to PNC Bank.

Your bank should do such transaction without problems and fund could be confirmed at PNC
Bank in less than 24hours, as transaction is within the United States of America.

I implore your understanding, to get this done first thing this Monday morning before
proceeding on official duties today. Send the transfer information (Transfer Slip) to me as soon
as done.

I am already at work, but with eyes on my mail for any update from your domain.
The attorney could complete signing of documents on Tuesday if fund is made available to him
today or tomorrow morning.

Waiting in anticipation to receive yours.

Enjoy a great day.

Ed Kirkwood

Hello Mr. Kirkwood,
I have been able to do this, although not without great effort. I had to convince the bank that Mr.
Zumhofe is my estranged brother! Please see the attached form. I will be interested in how
things develop as I am nervous about sending over this amount of money ($2,500).
Regards,
Ricardo
(The attachment sent was total garbage)
I thought I would send this again to ensure you get it.
(again, total garbage)
Also, if you have any trouble with this, please call the bank agent Felix Barnett: +44 122 445
9596
Hello Ricardo,
Is this quoted name and telephone number - Felix Barnett: +44 122 445 9596 your own bank agent in the
United Kingdom or agent to PNC bank?
If deposit was done accordingly at your bank, there won't be any problems with the transaction.
Please clarify who Felix Barnett is, and where he belong in UK.
Let me read from you later.
Ed
Hello Mr. Kirkwood,
I tried to explain the situation to the fine people at the bank. They gave me a UK number for
you to call if you had any troubles. I hope that makes sense.
I'm having trouble with my scanner at the moment. Let me see what I can do to get another
copy made and sent over to you.
Regards,
Ricardo
Good day Ricardo,

I commend your effort doing the bit you could. It's a lot of boost you've given me. I thank you
most sincerely. I'd have to do the level best to fill up the gap.
Unfortunately the attached file, supposedly the fund transfer slip could not be downloaded due
to file type error. You sent in BMP, with apparently no picture in file.

I ask you respectfully to send to me in Jpeg or PDF to ease download and viewing. I would
need to send the slip to the attorney for fund retrieval from the corresponding contact in the
United States. I need to give him proof that some fund has been deposited in his favour, to
enable further action be taken.

Consider this expedient to act upon real quick.

I'll be back with further update on transaction after this hour.

Hoping you'll have a great day ahead.

With cordial regards,

Ed

Hello Ricardo,
Attached files were sent in previous mail (16/05). It's the Power of Attorney to be
given to the attorney holding brief in signing the documents on your behalf. You
have not attended to the document before now.
Please read the letter and sign as required and return to me at the earliest.
We need to submit the document to the bank about now to commence the signing
process.
Two (2) formats presented. Sign copy that's more convenient for you.
Expecting yours in good time.
Sincerely,
Edward Kirkwood.
(same POA doc sent in both PDF and DOC formats)
Good day Ricardo,
Calling Felix Barnett on 44 122 445 9596 in UK could have made more sense to me
if corresponding account to receive deposit from you was in UK. But you had the
bank (PNC) in Florida in the United States. I can't therefore reconcile the correlation
between Texas, Florida and UK. Please help me out.
Was it because you told the bank that fund is for your estranged brother. Even at
that, Mr. Zumhofe is suppose to be in Florida in US.
However, I will be waiting for the deposit confirmation from account holder in
Florida. It shouldn't take more than 24hours to have confirmation, I suppose,
though.
I'll be waiting for signed Power of Attorney shortly.
Sincerely,
Ed.
Dear Mr. Kirkwood,
I got the UK contact as you're in the UK, correct? I wanted to ensure you could check on the
transaction and was provided that number.
Hopefully this makes sense.
Have you been able to confirm the transaction on your end?
Regards,
Ricardo
Hello Mr. Kirkwood,
Have you been able to confirm the transaction on your end? I'm sending a PDF that I tried to
take, although I'm a little worried about my scanner. Perhaps talking to Mr. Barnett would move
things along? I'm getting anxious given the significant amount of money I have sent. Perhaps I
should visit the bank and see if I can still cancel the transaction?
Regards,
Ricardo
(garbage sent as attachment, giant file sent five separate times)
Good morning Ricardo,
I have not received copy of signed Power of Attorney from you. The document is
most important in moving the transaction process forward. The attorney here needs
to take the next step into signing the final release documents.
Your transfer slip is virus infested. Could not be downloaded. File reported corrupt
and damaged due to unusual file format. I wonder how you do the scanning and
sending. Are you doing it underwater?
Confirmation of fund transfer is expected today, as I was told yesterday, it takes
about 24hours to confirm fund deposit when transfer is done inter-bank within a
country, but takes a minimum of 3 business days for transfer going outside the
country.
This is the piece of info I have for you this morning.
I am getting worried myself reading you getting worried over the amount of fund
you deposited supposedly for the support of this onerous business task to
accomplishment.
Why worried when you went to the bank to personally do the transaction in the
right information you were given?
Why worried when your intention is to have the best of this business in our hands?
Why worried if you believe in the reality of this business and the benefits inherent
in it?
I am really baffled you are worried. But I ask WHY?
Endeavour to send the PoA urgently.
Have a great day.
Ed Kirkwood
Dear Mr. Kirkwood,

I am astonished that my attorney would talk to me this way. I don't know how things are done in the UK,
but here in the US we do not expect our service providers to talk with such a sharp tongue. I am seriously
reconsidering my choice of using you in this matter. I have gone out of my way to send money to you - it
is beyond my control if the international money exchange process does not work. I have sent you
multiple scans of the transactions and have obtained a UK contact for you to discuss with the bank. Have
you called them yet?

Good day.

Ricardo
Mr. Cunningham,

I am an attorney, you are my partner. We are using another attorney to make ends meet in our
bid to having our business and transaction straight.

I want you imagine the scenario where I employed the service of my colleague to handle this
sensitive service for a fee. He confidently gave me all I asked for to fulfilling my obligation to
him, only to be given at the end futile information. Where is integrity? Where is humility in
relationship and service?. These are my concerns.

No sharp tongue, but speaking the obvious from my heart as it hurts me.

Till now, I've not been able to retrieve even a  bit of the document you have sent in attachment.
Not even the Power of Attorney.

You would recall you did the initial application form and was received in perfect order. Why the
hiccup in this later document.

No more time for rhetoric my brother. It's reality I mean, and has to be strictly so.

Have you visited your bank to confirm transfer to PNC bank or gone to revoke the transfer like
you suggested in one of your previous mails?

I wait your response.

God bless.

Edward

Mr. Kirkwood,
I have held up my end of the bargain. I'm out $2500 at this point. I checked with the bank and
they say it has been transferred and there is nothing I can do about it except to contact the
recipient of the money. I will be traveling to the UK shortly for a symposium at the Traveling
Underwater Welding Professors Conference (TUWPC) and I will stop by then. It is beyond my
comprehension that you are unable to open the documents - they work fine for me. Perhaps
you need a new computer?
I must also say that you do not sound like the nice, educated man that your picture of you with
many books portrays. I think you need to get a new picture.
Good day.
Ricardo
Mr. Cunningham,
We are not talking of picture or education here this time, but honesty, transparency
and sincerity of purpose.
Where is education when there's no truth in dealing with a supposedly partner of
high calibre? It speaks volume my dear friend and partner.
I believe you, bargain fulfilled, $2,500 contributed and transferred, nothing can be
done about it, and all that. I'd wait to receive the fund, may be tomorrow, may be
the day after or even forever.
Power of Attorney is missing, and you're not doing something about it sir. Perhaps
not an important document. But it is in all ramification as far as this transaction
exercise is concerned. Please endeavour to return it signed and dated as directed. I
might be able to fill up the fund before yours come arriving if it will.
In anticipation, waiting to receive from you.
Welcome to UK if you do visit.
Enjoy your rest.
Edward
Dear Edward,
You are right. I am providing the signed power of attorney form (below). As you know we've
had some problems lately communicating the documents back and forth, so I have delayed this.
But I'm willing to try now.
Please let me know if you are able to view and print this document.
Regards,
Ricardo
(11 20+ MB files were sent in separate emails)
Hello Bro,
No document received.
Document corrupt and some infested with virus. I have strong up to date antivirus
installed in my note book. So, no fear of being infected. Try send more copies, may
be one will eventually work.
Ten (10) mails received from you, non worked out good so far. What a disaster in
computer usage! Could be deliberate, but of no evil effect.
I am a man, complete man of honour. Not stupid in any form. Somehow the best of
someone might be the worst in someone else.
How can a transaction take place in American continent and one is being directed to
contact the continent of Europe? Does that make any sense?
One more day to allow for display of arrant and gross vile and unacceptable act.
This is a deal and has to be dealt with accordingly. You either be part in or part out.
Enjoy your time.
Ed
Hey Ed - or whatever your name is,
You're a man of honor? You think that scamming people out of their money is honorable? Were
you raised by a pack of dogs? You should get a job and show your family and others how to live
a good life. You're a parasite on humanity. Your English is terrible by the way. But in a funny
way. It might be the first time that 'bro' was used by an attorney to his client. Big moment for
you there.
I'm amazed that you've spent so much time exchanging emails, etc, with me. I have forwarded
the exchange off to hundreds of people, and we are all getting quite a laugh out of it. You are
gullible with a capital 'G'. I'm guessing that business is slow for you. You're probably new at
this. Or maybe there are fewer suckers out on the internet and you're having to work harder at
it.
As for the virus...well, you might just have to wait a while for that to take effect. Who knows
what it might do, and when?
Regards,
Ricardo
Hello Ricardo,
I just found some facts.
The expert that helped you to program computer virus and named the file PoA,
didn't do his work well. Perhaps he does not know much about virus programs. I
know to some extent.
My computer system is still functioning perfectly. One would have thought by now,
my notebook will be out of circulation. Thanks to knowledge.
Still waiting for the Power of Attorney and fund transfer slip. Perhaps more and
stronger computer virus.
Cheers
Ed

  • 6. I implore your further understanding, to promptly contact me with any information you may receive from the bank, for my advice before responding to them. If the need arises, if you are required to provide any information by the bank or any of its department or affiliate, do please let me have the information first before responding, or direct the bank to contact me for appropriate response. There is the need to secure our side of the transaction process to forestall giving any opening for uninvited interruptions. There is nothing to be done from your side now until the bank contacts you. Acknowledge receipt of this mail and the letter and offer your advice if any at this point, as may be necessary towards facilitating smooth handling of this transaction especially in the U.S.A. In my subsequent mail, I’ll let you know more on the next move after the fund has been successfully transferred to the designated account of yours. I am hopeful transaction will be concluded timely without hitches. Have a great day and please scan and forward to me and form of your identification (Driver's license or international passport), this is required in the application. Best regards, Edward Kirkwood. Hello Mr. Edward, I acknowledge this letter. Thanks. Ricardo Hello Mr. Edward Kirkwood, I was wondering how this transaction is going.  I think I sent my proper information to the claims department, but I haven't heard back.  Have you heard anything? Regards, Ricardo Dear Sir, This is to acknowledge the receipt of your mail. Have they contacted in response to the letter of intent our chamber submitted on your behalf? I will be there tomorrow to ascertain the position of your brief. Have a good evening and please acknowledge the receipt of this correspondence. Edward Kirkwood. Hello Mr. Kirkwood,
  • 7. No, I have not heard anything.  I'm looking forward to hearing from you tomorrow. Regards, Ricardo Dear Ricardo, Good afternoon, I just got back from the bank where I was informed they have received the document you transmitted but couldn't act on it because it is incomplete. It was unsigned. Please endorse (sign) and return to them immediately. Have a nice day. Edward Kirkwood. Dear Mr. Kirkwood, I have just signed and returned the document. Regards, Ricardo Dear Ricardo Thanks for the update. Have a good evening. Edward Kirkwood Dear Mr. Kirkwood, I was wondering if you have an update for me?  I have patiently waited two days for the money to transfer.  My bank account shows no transactions pending.  Any help? Thanks, Ricardo Dear Sir, Thanks for your mail. Please exercise a little more patience as it all has to pass through due process for funds to be remitted. I am sure it will be perfected soon.  Best regards, Edward Kirkwood.
  • 8. Hello Mr. Kirkwood, I am still not seeing the money appear in my account.  Are you sure you used the correct numbers? Please give me a call at 1-800-225-5324. Thanks, Ricardo Dear Sir, Thanks for your response.  I don't know why there is this prolong delay. I will be in the bank before closing hours to ask about the position of your brief. Will reach you later with details. Have a great day. Edward Kirkwood. How are you today? I managed to get to the bank before closing hours yesterday, and was able to gather some information regarding your brief. I was told you have been contacted and have been invited over to come and sign the fund released documents.  Did you receive this notification?  Please update me. Have a good morning. Edward Kirkwood. Dear Mr. Kirkwood, I'm doing fine today - splendid weather here. Absolutely gorgeous. How are things with you? I have been contacted about signing the release documents. I'm currently traveling, but hope to be over in the UK on the 20th of May. I might consider having a proxy perform this for me. Regards, Ricardo Mr. Ricardo, Considering exigencies of time, I would advice doing the signing by proxy. Though will call for some financial commitment, but will certainly save time and inconveniences.
  • 9. I will in the next couple of hours contact the bank for a list of their accredited attorneys for our contact. I'll be back with information in this regard. Hoping you'll have a great day. Sincerely, Edward Kirkwood Mr. Ricardo, In the list of Ulster bank's accredited attorneys, I've chosen to work with Mr. David Pester as he seems to be more considerate in his conditions of service. Mr. David Pester is the Managing Partner to TLT NL LLP Chambers in Belfast. We've had some useful discussion and he is good to go in holding brief for you. His conditions of offering the required service include: 1. Issuance of a Letter of Authorization (Limited Power of Attorney) to him. This is needed done to empower him handle any documentation on your behalf. Specimen of the letter is here attached for your immediate actions. I did the draft to expedite action in the process. Please read the letter and sign as required and return to me. Two (2) formats presented. Sign copy that's more convenient for you. 2. Your piece of identification is required for reference at the bank. (We already have that at the bank). There will be no need sending one. 3. Fees required include-: (A). Statutory Signing Fee of £1,600, to be paid to Ulster Bank before signing of documents could be done. (B). The Attorney's Consultation and professional service fee is £1,850 (One Thousand Eight hundred and Fifty pounds sterling). Fee is required to be paid prior to commencement of his service on the assignment. Total of fee is £3,450.00 or US$5,800.00 The 3rd item is likely to cause some break in the process. I do not have the whole fund in my account right now. If you can offer some inputs in this regard, it shall be appreciated and would take us through without delay. Reply at the earliest time possible. Attend to the Power of Attorney and return to enable the attorney commence actions on signing process while the finance is being arranged. Yours sincerely, Edward Kirkwood.

  • 11. Mr. Ricardo I've not received your acknowledgment of the information sent to you earlier today. We must move with time if our objective is to be realised on schedule. Keep in touch urgently. Hoping you're having a great day. Sincerely yours, Ed. Kirkwood Hello Mr Kirkwood, I'm sorry - I have been underwater. Literally. I've been doing some underwater welding instruction and have been away from my email. I see where I need to send money to you to keep the wheels moving over there. Can you please provide instructions on the most convenient way to do that? I'm hoping you don't say Paypal, as I hate that company with a vengeance. eBay was such a fine institution until Paypal got their greedy paws into the mix. And don't even get me started on eBay's fees on sellers. Like we're made of gold! More like carbohydrates and proteins! Any way, please send the info. Regards, Ricardo Good day Ricardo, I've got your mail. I share with you, your tight schedule of work underwater. I trust you'd be safe and secured. I have contacted the attorney to get us a safe and reliable means to receive his fee from your domain. Corresponding information will be relayed to you when I have it shortly after now. Could you please send me a functional telephone number through which I could reach you, even when under water. If this 1-210-335-6000 works over there, let me know in good time. I may call when it's expedient to do so. I'll be right back with more information as may be received from the attorney. Enjoy a great weekend. Ed Kirkwood Dear Mr. Kirkwood, Please feel free to call at your convenience. My full name is Ricardo Badmofo Cunningham in case the exchange asks. Regards, Ricardo Good day Ricardo, I got feed back from the attorney with the required information for making good our obligation to the firm.
  • 12. Coincidentally, he has a corresponding colleague right there in the United States to whom fund could be directed while equivalent is paid here to the attorney. The process will invlove you - Mr. Ricardo Badmofo Cunningham, make fund deposit into the given account information in the United States, send the associated fund transfer papers (deposit teller or slip) to me for onward delivery to the attorney. If there's PNC Bank near you in San Antonio, simply walk in and make direct deposit into the given account and send the relevant deposit papers to me. This should be of help in speeding up the process, so we could wrap up the remaining lap of the transaction within next week. Please use this banking information-: Name of Bank: PNC Address of Bank: 2711 NE 187th St., Aventura, FL 33180, USA Account Nr: 1216081262 Routing Nr: 267084199 Account Name: Anthony T. ZUMHOFE Let's avail ourselves of this information in good time. Your reply is anticipated. Cordial regards, Ed Kirkwood Dear Mr Kirkwood, I tried the PNC website - there are no locations within 100 miles of San Antonio. I will continue to search... Regards, Ricardo Dear Mr. Ricardo, The attorney just informed me, that, you do not necessarily need to visit PNC bank to make deposit. You could make Fund Transfer from your bank to PNC using the information provided. Visit your bank, request for inter-bank fund transfer information and most likely Form. Do what's required and get the fund on to PNC Bank. Your bank should do such transaction without problems and fund could be confirmed at PNC Bank in less than 24hours, as transaction is within the United States of America.  I implore your understanding, to get this done first thing this Monday morning before proceeding on official duties today. Send the transfer information (Transfer Slip) to me as soon as done. I am already at work, but with eyes on my mail for any update from your domain.
  • 13. The attorney could complete signing of documents on Tuesday if fund is made available to him today or tomorrow morning. Waiting in anticipation to receive yours. Enjoy a great day. Ed Kirkwood Hello Mr. Kirkwood, I have been able to do this, although not without great effort. I had to convince the bank that Mr. Zumhofe is my estranged brother! Please see the attached form. I will be interested in how things develop as I am nervous about sending over this amount of money ($2,500). Regards, Ricardo (The attachment sent was total garbage) I thought I would send this again to ensure you get it. (again, total garbage) Also, if you have any trouble with this, please call the bank agent Felix Barnett: +44 122 445 9596 Hello Ricardo, Is this quoted name and telephone number - Felix Barnett: +44 122 445 9596 your own bank agent in the United Kingdom or agent to PNC bank? If deposit was done accordingly at your bank, there won't be any problems with the transaction. Please clarify who Felix Barnett is, and where he belong in UK. Let me read from you later. Ed Hello Mr. Kirkwood, I tried to explain the situation to the fine people at the bank. They gave me a UK number for you to call if you had any troubles. I hope that makes sense. I'm having trouble with my scanner at the moment. Let me see what I can do to get another copy made and sent over to you. Regards, Ricardo Good day Ricardo, I commend your effort doing the bit you could. It's a lot of boost you've given me. I thank you most sincerely. I'd have to do the level best to fill up the gap.
  • 14. Unfortunately the attached file, supposedly the fund transfer slip could not be downloaded due to file type error. You sent in BMP, with apparently no picture in file. I ask you respectfully to send to me in Jpeg or PDF to ease download and viewing. I would need to send the slip to the attorney for fund retrieval from the corresponding contact in the United States. I need to give him proof that some fund has been deposited in his favour, to enable further action be taken. Consider this expedient to act upon real quick. I'll be back with further update on transaction after this hour. Hoping you'll have a great day ahead. With cordial regards, Ed Hello Ricardo, Attached files were sent in previous mail (16/05). It's the Power of Attorney to be given to the attorney holding brief in signing the documents on your behalf. You have not attended to the document before now. Please read the letter and sign as required and return to me at the earliest. We need to submit the document to the bank about now to commence the signing process. Two (2) formats presented. Sign copy that's more convenient for you. Expecting yours in good time. Sincerely, Edward Kirkwood. (same POA doc sent in both PDF and DOC formats) Good day Ricardo, Calling Felix Barnett on 44 122 445 9596 in UK could have made more sense to me if corresponding account to receive deposit from you was in UK. But you had the bank (PNC) in Florida in the United States. I can't therefore reconcile the correlation between Texas, Florida and UK. Please help me out. Was it because you told the bank that fund is for your estranged brother. Even at that, Mr. Zumhofe is suppose to be in Florida in US. However, I will be waiting for the deposit confirmation from account holder in Florida. It shouldn't take more than 24hours to have confirmation, I suppose, though. I'll be waiting for signed Power of Attorney shortly. Sincerely, Ed. Dear Mr. Kirkwood,
  • 15. I got the UK contact as you're in the UK, correct? I wanted to ensure you could check on the transaction and was provided that number. Hopefully this makes sense. Have you been able to confirm the transaction on your end? Regards, Ricardo Hello Mr. Kirkwood, Have you been able to confirm the transaction on your end? I'm sending a PDF that I tried to take, although I'm a little worried about my scanner. Perhaps talking to Mr. Barnett would move things along? I'm getting anxious given the significant amount of money I have sent. Perhaps I should visit the bank and see if I can still cancel the transaction? Regards, Ricardo (garbage sent as attachment, giant file sent five separate times) Good morning Ricardo, I have not received copy of signed Power of Attorney from you. The document is most important in moving the transaction process forward. The attorney here needs to take the next step into signing the final release documents. Your transfer slip is virus infested. Could not be downloaded. File reported corrupt and damaged due to unusual file format. I wonder how you do the scanning and sending. Are you doing it underwater? Confirmation of fund transfer is expected today, as I was told yesterday, it takes about 24hours to confirm fund deposit when transfer is done inter-bank within a country, but takes a minimum of 3 business days for transfer going outside the country. This is the piece of info I have for you this morning. I am getting worried myself reading you getting worried over the amount of fund you deposited supposedly for the support of this onerous business task to accomplishment. Why worried when you went to the bank to personally do the transaction in the right information you were given? Why worried when your intention is to have the best of this business in our hands? Why worried if you believe in the reality of this business and the benefits inherent in it? I am really baffled you are worried. But I ask WHY? Endeavour to send the PoA urgently.
  • 16. Have a great day. Ed Kirkwood Dear Mr. Kirkwood, I am astonished that my attorney would talk to me this way. I don't know how things are done in the UK, but here in the US we do not expect our service providers to talk with such a sharp tongue. I am seriously reconsidering my choice of using you in this matter. I have gone out of my way to send money to you - it is beyond my control if the international money exchange process does not work. I have sent you multiple scans of the transactions and have obtained a UK contact for you to discuss with the bank. Have you called them yet? Good day. Ricardo Mr. Cunningham, I am an attorney, you are my partner. We are using another attorney to make ends meet in our bid to having our business and transaction straight. I want you imagine the scenario where I employed the service of my colleague to handle this sensitive service for a fee. He confidently gave me all I asked for to fulfilling my obligation to him, only to be given at the end futile information. Where is integrity? Where is humility in relationship and service?. These are my concerns. No sharp tongue, but speaking the obvious from my heart as it hurts me. Till now, I've not been able to retrieve even a  bit of the document you have sent in attachment. Not even the Power of Attorney. You would recall you did the initial application form and was received in perfect order. Why the hiccup in this later document. No more time for rhetoric my brother. It's reality I mean, and has to be strictly so. Have you visited your bank to confirm transfer to PNC bank or gone to revoke the transfer like you suggested in one of your previous mails? I wait your response. God bless. Edward Mr. Kirkwood, I have held up my end of the bargain. I'm out $2500 at this point. I checked with the bank and they say it has been transferred and there is nothing I can do about it except to contact the recipient of the money. I will be traveling to the UK shortly for a symposium at the Traveling Underwater Welding Professors Conference (TUWPC) and I will stop by then. It is beyond my comprehension that you are unable to open the documents - they work fine for me. Perhaps you need a new computer? I must also say that you do not sound like the nice, educated man that your picture of you with many books portrays. I think you need to get a new picture. Good day. Ricardo
  • 17. Mr. Cunningham, We are not talking of picture or education here this time, but honesty, transparency and sincerity of purpose. Where is education when there's no truth in dealing with a supposedly partner of high calibre? It speaks volume my dear friend and partner. I believe you, bargain fulfilled, $2,500 contributed and transferred, nothing can be done about it, and all that. I'd wait to receive the fund, may be tomorrow, may be the day after or even forever. Power of Attorney is missing, and you're not doing something about it sir. Perhaps not an important document. But it is in all ramification as far as this transaction exercise is concerned. Please endeavour to return it signed and dated as directed. I might be able to fill up the fund before yours come arriving if it will. In anticipation, waiting to receive from you. Welcome to UK if you do visit. Enjoy your rest. Edward Dear Edward, You are right. I am providing the signed power of attorney form (below). As you know we've had some problems lately communicating the documents back and forth, so I have delayed this. But I'm willing to try now. Please let me know if you are able to view and print this document. Regards, Ricardo (11 20+ MB files were sent in separate emails) Hello Bro, No document received. Document corrupt and some infested with virus. I have strong up to date antivirus installed in my note book. So, no fear of being infected. Try send more copies, may be one will eventually work. Ten (10) mails received from you, non worked out good so far. What a disaster in computer usage! Could be deliberate, but of no evil effect. I am a man, complete man of honour. Not stupid in any form. Somehow the best of someone might be the worst in someone else. How can a transaction take place in American continent and one is being directed to contact the continent of Europe? Does that make any sense? One more day to allow for display of arrant and gross vile and unacceptable act. This is a deal and has to be dealt with accordingly. You either be part in or part out.
  • 18. Enjoy your time. Ed Hey Ed - or whatever your name is, You're a man of honor? You think that scamming people out of their money is honorable? Were you raised by a pack of dogs? You should get a job and show your family and others how to live a good life. You're a parasite on humanity. Your English is terrible by the way. But in a funny way. It might be the first time that 'bro' was used by an attorney to his client. Big moment for you there. I'm amazed that you've spent so much time exchanging emails, etc, with me. I have forwarded the exchange off to hundreds of people, and we are all getting quite a laugh out of it. You are gullible with a capital 'G'. I'm guessing that business is slow for you. You're probably new at this. Or maybe there are fewer suckers out on the internet and you're having to work harder at it. As for the virus...well, you might just have to wait a while for that to take effect. Who knows what it might do, and when? Regards, Ricardo Hello Ricardo, I just found some facts. The expert that helped you to program computer virus and named the file PoA, didn't do his work well. Perhaps he does not know much about virus programs. I know to some extent. My computer system is still functioning perfectly. One would have thought by now, my notebook will be out of circulation. Thanks to knowledge. Still waiting for the Power of Attorney and fund transfer slip. Perhaps more and stronger computer virus. Cheers Ed
