Dance is a form of exercise. It keeps your body
body strong and healthy.
1. Solo- you move alone.
2. Matching- stand side by side with your partner
doing the same movements.
3. Mirroring- perform same movements facing your
partner like being in front of the mirror.
4. Leading and Following- you move ahead in
front of your partner and group mates
5. Meeting and Parting- you move toward and
away from your partner
Dances are usually performed using basic
positions of the arm, feet, and other body parts.
Type of Dances
•Modern dance- this is the kind of dance usually
seen in parties and other happy celebrations.
•Folk dance- The traditional dance. These dances
help promote love for our country.
