PRODUCT TECHNICAL ASPECTS
Tip: you can crimp 2 FFC at a time with up to 400µ and over
In general common FFC are 200µ
Developed and patented by Nicomatic, the Crimpflex® connection system complies
with the most rigorous electrical and mechanical requirements.
The crimping of the contacts is obtained by piercing the conductor in 6 points,
which ensures excellent mechanical retention by 2 points and electrical contact by
4 points with very reduced contact resistance.
- Use of contacts on reel at a final pitch of 2.54mm or 1.27mm
- Flat copper conductors, silver or carbon ink printing conductors, etc
- All types of flexible circuits with thickness ranges from 50 microns
to 500 microns (other dimensions also possible upon request)
- Can pierce all types of materials : polyester, FR4, polyimide, PTFE, smart textile

NICOMATIC metal domes are used in any type of man/machine interface
(MMI). The most common application lies in mobile phone handsets with
smaller diameter domes – 4mm & 5mm round domes and 6mm 4-legged
domes – A push button of any kind of front panel could integrate a metal
dome from NICOMATIC and/or metal dome arrays.

The crimping of the contacts is obtained by piercing the conductor in 6 points, which ensures excellent mechanical retention by 2 points and electrical contact by 4 points with very reduced contact resistance. - Use of contacts on reel at a final pitch of 2.54mm or 1.27mm - Flat copper conductors, silver or carbon ink printing conductors, etc - All types of flexible circuits with thickness ranges from 50 microns to 500 microns (other dimensions also possible upon request) - Can pierce all types of materials : polyester, FR4, polyimide, PTFE, smart textile
