students to make adjustments to their semester schedules and/or academic records.
 Manage communications between Biology faculty and undergraduate students, assigning
faculty advisors to Biology and Biochemistry majors.
 Work directly with Biology faculty to coordinate the Biology Honors Program and run the
weekly honors seminar course.
 Plan and coordinate an annual undergraduate research symposium with poster
presentations and talks from over 60 undergraduate researchersin both on and off
campus laboratories.
 Collaborate with departments on campus such as the Academic Advising Center, Dean’s
Office, and Career Center to host events and disseminate resources to undergraduates.
 Monitor the registration processes and scheduling of courses for undergraduates as well
as facilitate enrollment changes and requests.

promote clear, accurate communication.

 Led classrooms of 5th and 3rd grade students toward accomplishing significant academic
gains of over 2 years of growth in Reading and Language Arts.
 Worked collaboratively to write and revise 3rd grade Social Studies curriculum that was
implemented in the Houston Independent School District.
