I am writing to let you know how interested I am in the Patient Care Tech job available with
your company. I believe I am qualified for the position and ready to tackle all the new things
there are to learn!
I am a care-taker by nature. For the past eleven years, I have worked as a Special Education
Paraprofessional for Hall County Schools. During this time, I have worked side by side with
medically fragile children, each child having his/her own personal needs and care. I am trained
on several different types of medical equipment: the Hoyer lift, Solo lift, Rifton stander, and gait
trainers. My training certification in CPR/First Aide, AED, and seizure care is current and up-to-
date. While I have performed my job with finesse for the students physically, I have also made
sure their mental and emotional needs have been met. I have a strong belief in taking care of the
whole person. I possess very strong skills with communication, time management, and
prioritizing.
I am currently completing my medical assistant certification and am excited to be getting into the
