The Church is “One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic.” These are the four characteristics or “marks” of the Church.
The Church is one because it is unique: Christ founded one Church, and fall members of the Church are united in his one body.
The Church has been afflicted by various schisms and divisions, but remains in essence one. All Christians are called to work toward greater unity with one another.
The holy Eucharist completes Christian initiation.
Those who have been raised to the dignity of the royal priesthood by Baptism, and configured more deeply to Christ by Confirmation, participate with the whole community in the Lord’s own sacrifice by means of the Eucharist.
PRAYER,
Almighty and everlasting God,
you despise nothing you have made
and forgive the sins of all who are penitent.
Create and make in us new and contrite hearts,
that we, worthily lamenting our sins
and acknowledging our brokenness,
may obtain of you, the God of all mercy,
perfect remission and forgiveness;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. Sacrament
• A sacrament is a Christian Rite recognized
as of particular importance and significance
• The Catholic Church and the Old Catholic
Church recognise seven sacraments:
1. Baptism
2. Reconciliation (Penance or Confession)
3. Eucharist ( Holy Communion)
4. Confirmation
5. Marriage (Matrimony)
6. Holy Orders
7. Anointing of the Sick .
3. Baptism
• Baptism = Baptisma ( Greek)
• Meaning: a Christian rite of admission
and adoption, almost invariably with the use
of water, into Christianity
• Synoptic gospels recount that John the
Baptist baptised Jesus. Baptism is
considered a sacrament in most churches,
and as an ordinance in others. Baptism is
also called christening, although some
reserve the word "christening" for
the baptism of infants
4. • Catholic doctrine holds that the baptism
ceremony is ordinarily performed by
deacons, priests, or bishops, but in an emergency
can be performed by any Catholic.
• This teaching is based on the Gospel
according to John which says that Jesus
proclaimed: "Truly, truly, I say to you,
unless one is born of water and the
Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom
of God.
6. Symbols for Baptism
There are five universal symbols of
Baptism such as :
1. Cross
2. White garment
3. Oil
4. Water
5. Light.
7. 1.Cross
The cross is a universal
symbol of Christianity. Making
the sign of the cross over a
child during the baptism
invokes god’s protection and
asks for entrance into the
body of Christian church.
8. • 2. White Garment
White is the colour of purity and
wearing a white garment during
baptism symbolizes that the person
being baptised now has a clean slate in
the eyes of god.
13. 1. During the Baptism of an infant, the priest asks the
parents, ‘ What name do you give your child?’
• The parents respond aloud, ideally with
a Christian name, such as one of the
saints or heroes of the Bible.
• In adult Baptism, skip this step.
14. 2. The priest asks, ‘What do you ask of God’s Church for
your child?’
• The parents respond, ‘Baptism.’
• If and adult is being baptized, he/she
answers the same.
15. 3. In infant Baptism, the priest asks the
parents and the godparents whether
they’re willing and able to fulfill their
duties to bring up this child in the
Christian faith.
16. 4. As a symbolic gesture, the priest makes the sign of the cross
with his thumb gently on the forehead of the child or adult.
• The sign is made to show that the cross of
Christ has saved him/ her.
• The parents and godparents do the same.
17. 5. A particular passage from the Bible is
read,usually from the New Testament,
where Baptism is mentioned.
18. 6. After some other prayers, the first anointing
takes place.
• The infant’s white garb is pulled slightly
beneath the neck so the priest can
smear a little oil on the infant’s neck
with his thumb.
• The same anointing takes place for an
adult.
19. 7. The priests blesses the water of Baptism.
• The prayer recalls how water has played
an important role in salvation history as
recorded throughout the Bible.
• It represents a sign of new life, the
washing of sin and a new beginning.
20. 8. The first part of the baptismal promises are made:
renunciation of evil.
• An infant can’t speak ,mum, dad and the
godparents answer for him/her.
• The priest asks, “ Do you renounce Satan? And
all his works? And all his empty promises?” If
tings goes well, everyone says “I do”.
• Adults who are being baptized answer for
themselves.
21. 9.The second part of baptismal promises: “ Do you
believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven
and earth?”
• The response is “I do”. Then the other two
persons of the Trinity are mentioned: “ Do
you believe in Jesus Christ?” and “Do you
believe in the Holy Spirit?”
• Parents and godparents answer for infants
• Adults answer for themselves.
22. 10. The actual Baptism takes place.
• In infant Baptism, the family gathers around
the baptismal font and the child is held over
the basin while the priest pours water 3
times over the child’s head and says his/her
first and middle name
• Then , “ I baptize you in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit.Amen”
23.
24. • In adult Baptism, the catechumen( a person
who is receiving instruction) holds the head
over the basin, and the priest pours water
over the head.
• If baptized by immersion, he/she enters the
pool and the priest dips his/her head into
the water 3 times.
25. 11. The priest anoints the top of the new Christian’s
head with chrism oil.
• The word Christ means anointed, and a
Christian is someone who’s anointed in
Jesus Christ.
26. 12. A Baptismal candle is lit from the burning Easter
Candle, which is present throughout the ceremony.
• It symbolizes that the new Christian is a
light to the world.
27. 13. The Our Father is said and a
blessing is given for mom,dad and the
family and everyone celebrates
.
