In panel interview one interviewer ask the all questions,
some time he did not give other interviewer chance to ask
question.
• This may create conflict between interviewers for
selecting the interview.
TIMING OF INTERVIEW:
The time of day that the interview was held has an impact
upon its results because the energy level of interviewers
and interviewees changes.

some error occurs which make hurdle in
interviews effectiveness:

 Verbal Behavior.

The order of the interview. If you are the first
among all candidates in the interview process,
you’re less likely to be hired then if you are the last
candidate.
 Unfortunately, where you appear in the order of
interviews impacts your odds of success.

THE LENGTH OF INTERVIEWS VARIES:
 interviews are often very short, making realistic
assessment difficult. And due to time and
business pressures, managers often eagerly
make snap, “first impression” decisions, which
can be inaccurate.
 Comparing candidates that had interviews of
significantly different lengths is also difficult.

from the candidate like; from HR manager
they should only ask HR related question.

they should give time to interviewee to prove
himself.
 They should not give undue favor to a person
just as he has a relation with you or some
merit should be considered

 They should ensure a clear job description
has been defined and clear criteria set by the
management.
 They should ensure that interviewers are
aware of criteria being used in the interview.
 they should ensure all candidates are asked
the same questions about matters that might
create a problem.

the candidate to ensure the validity and
reliability.
 They should train their existing employees to
get better result.
 They should used differenced technique to
retain their employees which would be safe
them from hiring cost.

PANEL INTERVIEW: In panel interview one interviewer ask the all questions, some time he did not give other interviewer chance to ask question. • This may create conflict between interviewers for selecting the interview. If you are the first among all candidates in the interview process, you’re less likely to be hired then if you are the last candidate.  Unfortunately, where you appear in the order of interviews impacts your odds of success. And due to time and business pressures, managers often eagerly make snap, “first impression” decisions, which can be inaccurate.  Comparing candidates that had interviews of significantly different lengths is also difficult. RECOMMENDATION BY GROUP:  In panel interview each interview should clearly give time to ask questions.  They should ensure a clear job description has been defined and clear criteria set by the management.  They should ensure that interviewers are aware of criteria being used in the interview.  they should ensure all candidates are asked the same questions about matters that might create a problem.   • 34.  They should ask the same question from all the candidate to ensure the validity and reliability.  They should train their existing employees to get better result.  They should used differenced technique to retain their employees which would be safe them from hiring cost.
