Founded in 2009, Baitussalam Welfare Trust’s operations encompass
Publications, Welfare Activities and Education. A diverse array magazines
and bulletins are published under the Baitussalam Publications with the
aim of fostering moral and ethical values. Baitussalam also has an active
cyberspace with a regularly updated website along with social media
accounts on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook and Twitter. More than
40,000 students study under the various educational institutes and
programs of Baitussalam which include large educational complexes
providing education till post-graduate level, to small basic educational
centres in rural areas. About 35,000 of these students are studying under
comprehensive scholarships that include boarding and lodging, transport,
food, clothes and educational materials. The welfare activities include free
medical camps, supply of clean drinking water, funeral services,

7. The Baitussalam Food Bank is a project initiated by Baitussalam in order to prevent food
wastage and to provide food to the underprivileged on a daily basis. The Food Bank collects
leftover food from restaurants and weddings and other events and distributes it in the
underprivileged areas of Karachi,Islamabad, Faisalabad and Talagang. Hundreds of thousands
of people were provided with food in the month of Ramadan and the service continues.
Baitussalam has an extensive food and ration distribution program, where thousands of
people are provided prepared hygienic meals and monthly ration packets with respect and
dignity. The meals are cooked in our kitchens spread all over the country by professional chefs
and served to deserving people. During the month of Ramadan, thousands of people are
served Sahr and Iftari, which is also distributed among the needy in rural areas. Hundreds of
thousands of people have been provided with comprehensive monthly ration packs.

8. Baitussalam Welfare Trust also operates an ambulance service for Karachi and
Chakwal. Baitussalam’s ambulances are state-of-the-art vehicles specifically
equipped with all the necessary apparatus for dealing with any emergency
situation. The ambulances are accompanied by trained paramedics and
available round the clock. Baitussalam has also inked an agrement with Indus
Hospital under which Baitussalam’s ambulances are available free of cost for
Zakat patients of the Indus Hospital.

Baitussalam maintains livestock of sacrificial animals for Sadaqah and Aqiqah
and it is always ensured that the animals in stock are healthy. The Trust also
provides home service for Sadaqah and Aqiqah for all areas of Karachi.
Experienced and well-trained butchers are employed for slaughtering. The
meat is distributed among the deserving and needy people and is also
provided as meals at Baitussalam’s educational centres.

9. Baitussalam Welfare Trust sets up medical camps
in different parts of the city, providing people
with free medical relief. Collaborating with
different hospitals and clinics, Baitussalam
Welfare Trust has helped countless deserving
people of the deprived and underprivileged
areas with medical aid.
Medical aid in the form of free medication and treatment is
also provided by the Baitussalam Welfare Trust. More than
18,500 needy patients were provided free of cost, quality
medical treatment in 2017. Medicines worth 3.5 million
rupees have also been distributed amongst deserving
patients.

10. Baitussalam works diligently in providing relief services whenever natural
calamities such as flash floods and earthquakes strike any area of the country. The
services include IDP camps, ration packages and clean water supply. In response
to a catastrophic situation, Baitussalam provides humanitarian aid to individuals
and communities who have suffered from some form of disaster.

11. Baitussalam Welfare Trust offers coffin carrier services throughout Karachi
at nominal charges. With the latest model vehicles the coffin carrier
service is offered 24 hours 7 days a week.

female, well trained male and female staff for Ghusl (Bath) and
Tadfeen (Burial) service. The Trust maintains all the equipment
required for Ghusl and Tadfeen and all these services are absolutely
free of cost, available round the clock.

12. Baitussalam Welfare Trust has collaborated on multiple
projects with AFAD which is The Disaster and Emergency
Management Presidency of Turkey. It was established in
2009 to take necessary measures for effective emergency
management and civil protection nationwide in Turkey and
around the world.
A Memorandum of Understanding was developed between
Baitussalam Welfare Trust and Turkish Red Crescent in the
year 2017. Turkish Red Crescent is the largest humanitarian
organization in Turkey and is part of the International Red
Cross and Red Crescent Movement performing
humanitarian efforts around the globe.
In view of the rising crisis of Syria, Baitussalam Welfare Trust
collaborated with The Turkiye Diyanet Foundation which
gives precedence to social peace, harmony, and tranquility
in the development of society's religious, social, and
cultural activities.

13. The Baitussalam Welfare Trust has performed/played a promising role in working side by
side with our Turkish brothers in helping the oppressed Syrian refugees. In collaboration
with AFAD and Diyanet Foundation, the Baitussalam Welfare Trust has provided the
following services for our Syrian brothers and sisters.
· An amount of approximately PKR 20 million was spent in the construction of a bakery
· Daily expenses of the bakery are approximately PKR 7,50,000
· The bakery provides 1,50,000 breads per day for the refugees
· Over 30,000 people were provided with ration in refugee camps and settlements
· Approximately 11,000 packages were distributed among the refugees
· 3 containers of clothes were shipped and 35000 people were provided with clothes
· Warm clothes, sweaters, shoes, jackets and educational toys worth over millions were
distributed among the refugees
· One and half containers of baby diapers were also shipped
· 63000 kg of vermicelli was distributed
The Baitussalam Welfare Trust is also working side by side with Diyanet Foundation for
education services and for the reconstruction of the damaged mosques.

What seemed impossible a couple of weeks ago has been made possible by the Nation
of Pakistan. The pain and cries of the oppressed Refugees were heard and responded
to with a call of action along with an emergency plan to provide humanitarian support.
Baitussalam Welfare Trust, Pakistan, envisioned timely attention to the Refugees and
30 fully equipped state of the art Ambulances for ensuring assistance to the victims.
Out of the 30 Ambulances, 8 have been offloaded at Mersin Port, Turkey for ongoing
transportation to Syria, with another 7 en route towards Syria and the remaining 15 in
assembling phase.

To tackle the extreme food insecurity that had risen as the Syrian crisis
unfolded, Baitussalam has installed a bread manufacturing plant at
the Turkey/Syria border. The plant was constructed in
collaboration with AFAD (Republic of Turkey Prime
Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management
Agency), and produces 150,000 breads daily
that are distributed among the Syrian
refugees. Apart from the designing
and manufacturing costs,
Baitussalam also bears
the monthly running
cost of the
Plant.

As the Rohingya crisis rekindled and resulted in the mass exodus of desperate refugees into
neighbouring countries, Baitussalam in collaboration with international NGOs initiated its
Rohingya Refugee Aid Program. Baitussalam has shipped critical aid supplies into the
refugee camps setup for the Rohingya Refugees. These include perishable and
non-perishable food items, hygiene supplies, tents, clothes, blankets, medicine
and drinking water. A special Eid ul Adha sacrifice program was successfully
completed in which meat was distributed to 1226 families.

& Wells
Baitussalam Welfare Trust undertakes the task of digging
of wells and extension of water supply lines in rural and far
reaching areas of Pakistan which are deprived of this basic
necessity. Using our education centers as focal points,
Baitussalam Welfare Trust conducts frequent surveys of
the adjoining rural areas and wells or water supply lines are
extended wherever they are required. A number of 270
areas across the country have been provided with tube
wells, hand pumps, water supply lines, etc.
Baitussalam has built many mosques all over Pakistan and abroad, and
continues to do so in areas where there are not enough mosques. Mosques
damaged due to natural disasters and conflicts are also repaired and renovated
while the monthly expenses of these mosques is also provided by Baitussalam.

Baitussalam has an extensive annual global Eid ul Adha sacrifice
program, which offers free meat to deserving people
throughout Pakistan and in conflict zones worldwide. In
Pakistan this program focuses on the rural and remote areas.

Using the extensive network of Baitussalam’s primary education centres, the meat is
distributed among the poor and needy. In collaboration with International NGOs like the
Turkiye Diyanet Vakfi, Baitussalam also manages the sacrifice of thousands of animals in
conflict zones like Syria and Burma.
20. The School Partnership Program aims to support and develop
educational institutions for students all over Pakistan, especially in
the remote areas and under privileged sections of the society, by
providing free of cost technical assistance to schools in the
academic and administrative domains. This assistance is provided in
the form of workshops, certification courses, curriculum
development, school improvement interventions, standardized
testing and educational research.

Islamabad, , the goal of the Baitussalam Olympiad is to provide
annually, a single platform for the students of different
