Technology for “autism”
Everyday new technology is changing our
lives in ways we never imagined.
For individuals with autism, some new
technologies can improve communication,
assist in the development of social skills,
and enhance the ability to learn
Own Experience
I tried to implement “Twitter” as an education
tool with one of my autistic child, by asking
him “what do you want” and he must answer
“orally” and then “writing it” on twitter as a
tweet.
Example: I asked him “what do you want?” he
said “I want to eat breakfast” and he write the
sentence as a tweet.
-> Own Experience
Before he posted the tweet, I asked him to
take the picture of his breakfast and to tweet
it.
Due to my experience with the kid using this
tool it was successful tool which can be
applied with autism.
