2. BASQUE DINING CUSTOMS
Dining customs in the Basque Country aren’t as different as to
what many people think. However, something that sets this culture
apart are the very famous ‘pintxos’. These are very important
when practising dining etiquette, as many people tend to go from
bar to bar tasting these delicious servings. You usually eat them
with your hands, and with a side drink.
3. AMERICAN DINING CUSTOMS
Dining etiquette in the USA is a very important factor. Many people
may think that it’s a bit different from other countries, however
there are some customs that differ from others. For example, if you
are a religious family, it is very common to pray and thank god for
this meal, surrounded by family members. Another custom is the
proper use of the napkin. Some people tend to tie it down their
neck, and others place it near their lap. Usually, dining with your
whole family is very common, and you barely see anybody eating
with their hands.
