Selina Wedge was a 28-year-old single mother in 1878 Cornwall who drowned her youngest son Henry in exchange for marriage to James Westwood. However, Westwood did not want her after all. Selina was convicted of murder and hanged at Bodmin Jail, where her ghost is said to haunt the prison crying and trying to reach out to children. Her tragic story and execution have left her spirit lingering at the jail where she met her unfortunate end.
