ADHD and hearing problems to mobility and
learning disabilities. This presentation will
provide different tools that will assist you in
your classroom when dealing with students
that have disabilities.
3. Assistive technology refers to anything that
is used to assist and increase functionality in
individuals that have disabilities.
4. There are many different assistive
technology resources that are available to
help instruct students that have disabilities.
First, however, it is necessary to gather
important information about the student so
that you can choose the most effective
instructional tools.

6. You are a teacher who has a few students that
require you to differentiate your instruction.
Three have been diagnosed with ADHD, while
one has an auditory disability, and requires a
special device in order to hear. In addition, you
have a number of students that have mild
learning disabilities that impact all areas,
especially reading and writing. As you prepare
for the school year, you ask yourself, "What
