Barton Vader is a Canadian citizen who has always lived in London- Ont.docxConnorj2kMackayj
Barton Vader is a Canadian citizen who has always lived in London, Ontario. He has a spouse and two school-aged children. As of May 2019, he accepts a new employment position in Akron, Ohio. On October 1, 2019, he moves to Akron to locate housing for his family. In order for his children to finish the school term, his family remains in London until January 1, 2020. When they move, John severs all residential ties with Canada other than the family residence. The residence is placed on the market in January, 2020. However, it has not been sold as of December 31 , 2020. (a) Briefly explain the factors that determine residency in Canada for personal income tax purposes. (b) Would Mr. Vander be considered a Canadian resident for income tax purposes? How would he be taxed?

B10 113 Spring 2023 2- In prokaryotes- sometimes a single gene can be.docxConnorj2kMackayj
B10 113 Spring 2023 2. In prokaryotes, sometimes a single gene can be transcribed by multiple RNA Polymerases at the same time. Likewise, a single mRNA may be translated by multiple ribosomes at the same time. A cartoon representing this scenario is shown below. A piece of prokaryotic chromosomal DNA containing a single gene is illustrated as a thick line. Thin lines radiating from the DNA are mRNA molecules in the process of being transcribed. Ribosomes shown are attached to the mRNAs. RNA polymerases and newly synthesized proteins are not shown. Different positions in the diagram are labeled with letters. a. Draw in a circle representing each RNA polymerase that is in the process of transcribing the gene into mRNA. Label each circle "RNA polymerase." b. Recall that RNA polymerase can only add nucleotides to the 3 ' end of a growing RNA molecule. Label the 3 end and 5 ends of each mRNA that is being transcribed. (Hint: the 3 'end will be next to the RNA polymerases you drew in part a). c. Look at the RNA transcript labeled D-E. Is the 5 end of the RNA closer to position D or position E? Explain your answer. d. Imagine there is one RNA polymerase that has just started transcription near the promoter. There a different RNA polymerase that is almost done with transcription near the terminator. Which RN polymerase will have synthesized (made) a longer RNA molecule? Circle one: the RNA polymerase near the promoter the RNA polymerase near the terminator 10113 Spring 2023 Problem Set 4 e. Is the promoter closer to position A or position F? Explain your answer. f. Is the RNA polymerase located at position J moving to the right or the left? g. Imagine each RNA polymerase has finished making each mRNA in the diagram. Will each mRNA have the same length and sequence? Explain your answer. h. Look at the ribosome labeled C . Is it moving closer to or further from position L? Explain your answer. i. Which ribosome has made more peptide bonds: ribosome G or ribosome H ? j. Could the scenario happening in this diagram occur in eukaryotes? Explain why or why not.

As technologies change so frequently- it is essential that we continue.docxConnorj2kMackayj
As technologies change so frequently, it is essential that we continue to assess our knowledge and keep abreast of evolving technologies that affect how our work is performed. This is uniquely true of ASP.NET Core pages as it is so new and constantly evolving to simplify and standardize processes and tools. What are some potential methods of keeping up to date? Find at least one for each of the following: organizations, conferences, webinars, tutorials, professional development, or events and provide a brief description including a link, dates if applicable, and the value it would add to your lifelong learning.

The simplified electron and muon model, Oscillating Spacetime: The Foundation...RitikBhardwaj56
Discover the Simplified Electron and Muon Model: A New Wave-Based Approach to Understanding Particles delves into a groundbreaking theory that presents electrons and muons as rotating soliton waves within oscillating spacetime. Geared towards students, researchers, and science buffs, this book breaks down complex ideas into simple explanations. It covers topics such as electron waves, temporal dynamics, and the implications of this model on particle physics. With clear illustrations and easy-to-follow explanations, readers will gain a new outlook on the universe's fundamental nature.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
it describes the bony anatomy including the femoral head , acetabulum, labrum . also discusses the capsule , ligaments . muscle that act on the hip joint and the range of motion are outlined. factors affecting hip joint stability and weight transmission through the joint are summarized.
