       Introduction

       Every company has their own vision and mission to achieve the goal in future. So
their need to show the best performance on their structure, development, growth and
current performance must in the right way to be strong company. As a company the
organization must be manage as good as possible their can.

       Biogenta Plc is a world –leading business, producing crop-protection product.
This company has four major functional areas in research and development,
manufacturing, sales and marketing and finally, support (covering financial services,
human resources and legal services). Jane Morgan is the Chief Executive Officer for
this company. They have they own organization structure in the company.

       About Outback plc is an adventure-based tour company located in Sydney,
Australia. This company offers a variety of services, including guided tours,
accommodation and meals, to those wishing to visit remote and regional areas of
Australia.

       This two company, there have their own organization structure, working culture,
management used, and the organizational culture. Best on the following areas, there
have difference. Best on this to company, both of this company have their difference in
the way they operate an in the way they are managed for their own company.

      Biogenta plc

       Organization design and structure

      Best on the case study, Biogenta PLC has the own organization structure and
design present performance. Their organized into four major functional areas which
Research and Development, Manufacturing, sales and Marketing and support (covering
financial services, human resources and legal services). These functional were
attending by the different staff and different education background also promotes cross-
functional working in project teams.

      This company was present their organizational culture by applies the traditional
structure. Jane Morgan (CEO) applies the traditional structure and put her faith in her
staff to minimal the hierarchy. She is very motivational and communicates high
expectations of all staff. Good communication make the organization lest of
misunderstanding (Laurie J. Mullins, 1999). This was applied by Jane Morgan for her
staff. Relationship between people and organization for this company make this
company growth.

      Team and team working

      Team work has been found to increase productivity and increase job satisfaction,
to the benefit of both the organization and the employee (Buchanan D, 2004). Biogenta
PLC has the good team and teamwork. Jane Morgan as a CEO put her faith in the
teamwork to avoid the barriers up between staff and the organization. Base on the
functional areas, they cross-functional working in the project team to achieving constant
product improvement and innovation.

      Moreover, the team and team work can be large or small, short term or fairly long
in duration. This flexibility makes the Biogenta PLC staff to be motivational and
innovation. This thing makes the staff to be productive.

       Approach to leadership and management

       Jane Morgan as the CEO of this company has the knowledge to a best leader in
Biogenta PLC. She is very motivational and can communicate high expectations with
the all staff. This is the advantage that she has; she can influence the staff activities of
an organized group in its efforts towards goal setting and setting achievement. This
criterion was applied by Jane and related with (Stogdill, 1950) definition for the
leadership. From this, her staff is always improve and to stimulate to be creative and
innovation.

       Approaches that Jane applied in the management always give advice the staff by
strong focus on recruiting extremely able and highly motivated employees.              This
company also committed to innovation and to investing heavily in the development to be
a best company in the world. The management apply in this company is very clear.

       Environment in the workplace

       The company was using some money to design the office environment and even
factories to be light, pleasant place to work. Moreover, the company also sponsoring a
large amount of art work and landscaping to enhance the environment. The workplace
environment is very important because that thing can influence the staff performance
especially in the large company like Biogenta PLC.

       Organization culture

       Biogenta PLC was applied the traditional culture base on the functional areas
that mentioned in the organization structure. Jane as the CEO trusts that the structure is
very influence for the company performance. So, she put her faith in she staff and
teamwork to minimal the hierarchy. This way is very essential to make sure that the
relationship in the company is applied. Best on Buchanan D. and Laurie J Mullins, in the
organization must have the relationship, understanding, and cooperation each member
in the company.

       Employee

       In this part, this company has the high education staffs that have the doctorate
level and support staff at least has the degree certificate in science subject.      This
company also offers numerous in-house training course covering both technical and
personal development issues.

       Moreover, these companies also make twenty differences nationalities in the
functional they have. In the organization also offer the generous support to the
employee like giving change to further their study and training by paying fees also giving
time off to attend the course.

       My perception on Biogenta Plc Company

       Biogenta plc has the good performance in the organization especially in term of
organizational design and culture, team and teamwork, leaderships and management
and organizational culture. Jane Morgan as the Chief Executive Officer is good leader.
She can apply the best way for her company. In generally, this company management
is very clear and very successfully

       There has the strength in term of team and teamwork, leadership and
management, organizational design and structure and the workplace environment. Most
the functional in the organization is good and perform well. Laurie J Mullins, 1999 said
that the good organization was come from the good management especially in term of
leadership and management. This thing was apply by Biogenta PLC Company actually.

       Outback PLC analyzes and investigates

       Outback PLC is the strong tourism company in the Australia also the most
important sector in the economic structure. Outback company has their vision but their
vision is not clear enough to move forward. This is because these companies just apply
the old style strategy is that only refer for what they have before. Because of no detail
strategy they product offering has not been updated for a number of years.

       The corporate level of strategy is this company is very low. This is because they
just focus on the profit (profitability trend) for their business. The profitability trend
causes this company receive a lot of problem especially complaint from the staff.

       Organizational design and structure

       Base on analyze that I have done, the organizational structure is like family
company. This is because the entire person that takes care in all high departments is
almost from family member. So the decision also comes from the head. The employees
just follow the interaction given. They staff in the higher place is from the founding
family. Then they just satisfy the family needed.

       The companies just still retain its original functional organizational culture. The
structure is marketing department, finance department and human resource department
only. This is the functional that they use in the organizational. There don’t have the clear
structure, even their have the functional. So this company must upgrade they structure.

       Team and team working

       Limited team working is the most failure of the company in any organization
(Buchanan D & Laurie j.). This company has the limited team working in the
organization. The employee just does them on job on the department that they do. That
means just do the same thing (work) in the organization. This company has the young
majority staff. Highly motivated and eager for learning opportunities, but the company
struggle to regain them.

       The team organization in this company is not to clear. The employee cannot
perform they knowledge for the company. This is because the decision is come from the
head (CEO-the son of the original founder family). Team work in this company is not
clear enough.

       Approach to leadership and management

       The leadership is the son of the founder and his apply the autocratic style
leadership. This type of leadership is not so good, because this person cannot control
the organization as well. Moreover, this person cannot prepare to listen to staff he have
and particularly those at the lower end of the hierarchy. Relationship is very important

suggestion because the head or leader just want only his own perception.

       Management

       In the term of management, these companies have the bad reputation. This is
because they receive some bad press in the Asian tourist magazines and news papers.
Other than that they also have the poor result service for their client especially to meet
the client to discuss the problem about.

       The management also has been hesitant to move away from using standard
level agencies for their booking purposes, which relatively costly. Moreover, the younger
staffs have the idea to improve the product but the head of the management has not
listened.

       Organizational culture

       These companies use the traditional organizational structure. They still use
retains original organizational culture. The organizational culture in this company is not
clear enough. That has mentioned that is not best to work in this company. They just do
the same job and same management in the organization. This is the reason why the
worker fell bored to working in the Outback PLC organization. These companies
actually focus on the profitability. The management just ignores the staff suggestion in
the organization. This company just regains the employee. Organization culture in this
company is not clear, that why worker not fell well in the culture they facing during the
working period time.

       Employee

       Most of the employee is young. There has higher motivated in the working part.
But cannot share the knowledge they have. They concerned about being blamed from
head especially the leader. Many younger staff have a how to improve product range,
the service offered to client and how to target the all important Asian Market. But the
management not listen the idea. The employee also have receive no rewarded. They
just work for the requirement from the head. They cannot receive reward like bonuses,
time out or opportunity to further study again.

       Environment in the workplace

       Outback PLC Company has applied their own situation for their workplace. Base
on this case study, it is not a fun to work place to work. This is because the organization
just applied the traditional environment culture. This company no ever sponsor for the
environment in their organization. The work environment actually influences the staff
performance.

       This weakness of environment in workplace give the disadvantage for the
company also the staff has work for the company. That why the staff fell bored and
argue that work in this company is not fun to work. Buchanan D. (2010) said that the
bad and lower environment perform is the weakness of the organization.

      Perception on Outback PLC Company

      Outback company has the most important for Australia economic. This company
has the strength on the status because this tour company was establish in the early
1990s, and the top five international tourism market.

      But in the same time this company has the weakness in term of organizational
design and culture, team and teamwork, leaderships and management, and in the
organizational culture. Most of in this term the management is not very well. As I
mentioned and analyze above, Outback PLC Company has the not good performance
in the organization management.

      The management focus on profitability and the employee cannot share their
knowledge ever though the staff has the relevant idea to reduce al solve the problem
their face. In generally, this company performance in the organization is unclear without
the best way and arrangement for their organization.

      Comparison between Biogenta plc and Outback plc

      Biogenta plc and Outback Plc has they own management performance whether
in organization structure, tam and teamwork, leadership and management, and on the
organizational culture. Every company has the differences (Laurie J Mullins, 1999).

      Similarity

      The similar between these two companies is on the organizational structure. The
organizational structure use is a traditional structure. Biogenta plc and Outback apply
the traditional structure on the organization. This is only the similar between these two
companies.

      Difference

      To many differences between this two companies which organization structure
management, leadership and management present, team and teamwork, and the
organization culture also the employee management.

       Organizational structure

       The organizational culture apply of is this two company is traditional structure.
The company has the similar on the organization apply but the way the managing is
differences. Biogenta organizational structure has the flatter hierarchy’s structure which
is Jane Morgan as the CEO and has the four functional apply on the organizational.
Then Jane apply the more better managing on the functional which fulfill the
organization with knowledgeable employee, more flexibility, has the management
control, and approach on the organization is in control.

       Outback apply the difference organization structure which is has only the
traditional structure which the basic. Organization structure on this company is unclear
hierarchy apply. This company more focus on family company which most of head place
is has relation. The company has unclear strategy, unclear of management control and
less flexibility in the organization structure.

       Leaderships and management

       Jane Morgan as a CEO on the Biogenta plc applies the good performance. She
is very motivated, can communicate with staff, and also manage well on the
organization. She always improves the staff performances which always give advice for
her staff by focus on recruiting extremely and motivated employee. So far Jane
manages very well on her organization.

       The leader of Outback plc Company managing and control very difference from
Jane Morgan was apply in the organization. The leader which the son of the founder
cannot control the organization, cannot prepare listen to the staff and particularly those
at the lower end of hierarchy. He relationship between staff is less and he managing
best n his decision without giving opportunity for the staff to give the opinion on the
organization.

        Team and teamwork

        Jane Morgan provides the clear teamwork functional on the organization. Jane
put her faith on the teamwork to make the staff more creative and innovation. She also
allow the cross functional working in the project team to achieving the goals. The team
and team work also can be large or small, short term or fairly long in duration. The
management of the team and team work of Biogenta pls is clear enough.

        Outback plc has the difference team and teamwork performance which is has the
limited team working in the organization. The staff just do the same job and no cross-
functional on the project. The staff work in this company mentioned that work in this is
not best. Team and team working on Outback plc are not clear enough.

        Organizational culture

        Biogenta PLC was applied the traditional culture base on the functional areas
that mentioned in the organization structure. Jane as the CEO trusts that the structure is
very influence for the company performance. The staff and leader have the good
relationship.   The organization culture on this company is good which has the
understanding. Cooperation and relationship which work ask a family.

        The organization culture apply by Outback plc is not clear which is still use the
traditional culture. They have no relationship between the staff from the other
department or functional. The culture was same. The work place not change even the
company has the high income. In generally, work in this company is bored, and not
best.

       Recommendations

       Recommendation to Biogenta PLC Company

       Best on analyze that I have done on the Biogenta PLC Company, I think Jane
Morgan just maintain the corporate strategy and the business level strategy that they
current performance. In term of organizational management, this company has
performed very well by Jane as a CEO.

       This company very well performance in the organization management. In
generally, I just recommend for this company to maintain and more challenging project
for their staff to make them more innovation and creative like the value that this
company apply to achieve their mission.

       Recommendations for Outback PLC Company

       This company is a strong contributor to Australia Company and the main
attractions for visitor. This is the strength of this company. Because of the status as the
important and top five international Tourism market, this company apply the traditional
organizational management especially I term of functional there has. This company has
the weaknesses as I mentioned and discuss above

       To be have a best organization management structure, I recommend to this
company to change the part of the organization that they has such as organizational
design and structure, team and teamwork, leaderships and management, organizational
culture and so on that related wit organization management. By change the functional
this company can easy focus and arrange their management by made the clear
hierarchy on the management.

       For the structure, Outback PLC Company must add more functional to make
them easier to manage. The functional must added in this company, his company need
to change the traditional structure that the use before. For this company I recommend to
this company to change the patterns of work organizational, the demand for greater
flexibility and the multi skill challenge, and managerial process such us delegation and

empowerment also have a major interrelationship with structure           and influence
decisions on structural design.

      In term of the employees sector, these companies need to give them reward. The
reward may in term of money like bonuses, the time out, the opportunity to further their
study and award. This thing con motivated the staff to work hard as possible their can
for the company. In the same time the companies need to sponsor for workplace
environment, because environment influence the staff performance. This company also
needs to change the culture in the organizational. In generally, these companies need
to change the organizational management.




      Conclusion

      As a conclusion, this two company have analyzed has the difference organization
management style. Biogenta PLC Company organization management more clear and
focus this company has the best way and arrangement in the organization design and
structure, leadership and management, team and team work and the organizational
culture. Jane Morgan as the CEO of this company has presented the best way to
manage this company as well.

      Then Outback PLC Company I more focus on the profitability. Their using the
traditional management style the organization structure. The leader is the son of the
founder of this before. He cannot perform well as a leadership. There have a lot of
weakness in term of organizational structure, leadership and management, organization
culture, work environment, team and teamwork and for the employees.

      In generally, for these two companies has their own strength and weaknesses in
their organization structure. The management needs to understand and identify the
company present performance. This very important to the company to evaluate that
what has their have done and what their need to do in the future.

Organization culture in this company is not clear, that why worker not fell well in the culture they facing during the working period time. Employee Most of the employee is young. There has higher motivated in the working part. But cannot share the knowledge they have. They concerned about being blamed from head especially the leader. Many younger staff have a how to improve product range, the service offered to client and how to target the all important Asian Market. But the management not listen the idea. The employee also have receive no rewarded. They just work for the requirement from the head. They cannot receive reward like bonuses, time out or opportunity to further study again.
