3. Introduction
Style
The word “style” is derived from the Latin word “stilus” which meant a short, stick, sharp at
one end and flat at the other, used by the Romans for writing on wax tablets. Stylistics is the
scientific study of style. The science that has style as its object of study,i.e. stylistics, raises many
problems when trying to define it and set its field of investigation.

analysis.

The statement is about lauding police for maintaining law and order in AJK. This
text is acceptable in any situation and society. It is not about any type of creating
violation or threat in the society.

The statement is to aware the world that AJK police is enable to defend the Azad
Jammu Kashmir from his enemies.

The use of diction in the statement is very simple and the use of diction is according
to the situation and caliber of the readers.
