Assignment – Content & Engagement Ideas
1. An interesting behind the scenes video about how a certain collection is finalized can be posted
on facebook & the brand website to generate curiosity amongst onlookers. Theme/ Mood
boards for a certain collection might also help.
2. Generate a contest asking people to post pictures of their ootds with Loreal lipsticks and offer
giveaways. (E.g: For Bold In Gold launch, post a series of lipstick shades in a week and ask people
to style it with their outfits and post pictures tagging Loreal on facebook. The best picture wins a
lipstick goodie bag)
3. Provide high definition swatches of the products on the brand or other ecommerce websites so
that people have a clear idea of what they are buying unlike those swatches which look
irregular/ poorly pigmented or are in reality a completely different colour.
4. Offer exclusive complimentary goodies whenever there is a new launch. This can include
interesting storage merchandise or a mini makeup essential. This will help because it won’t be
available after a specified period and since the TG believes in doing things in the spur of the
moment, this will help in boosting sales.
5. Create a campaign around why should Loreal be a part of every woman’s makeup box. Pose it as
an essential makeup element by giving details of the technology, colours etc…
6. Create articles/ blog posts of whenever the brand spokespersons appear for an event. Not
necessarily talking about Loreal but encouraging their outfit style or makeup game and later add
a statement saying “Loreal totally recommends this glamazon’s style formula who is also our
brand ambassador.”
7. Asking the consumers on facebook to suggest shades in a lipstick or eye shadow palette with
their ideas behind the selection and create an exclusive range.
8. Ask people to click picture perfect images with Loreal makeup and DM. Repost the best of those
on facebook for a week and whoever gets the most likes wins a freebie.
9. Plan a personal interview of Indian brand ambassadors on their beauty routine, everyday to-do-
list, makeup regime, general life and Loreal essentials & post it as a blog post. On Facebook post
an interesting image of the ambassador and give a link to the blog post. Do it once a week for a
period of one month to generate more traction and to generate awareness about the blog.
10. Keep posting newer trends that is taking the internet by storm and create a DIY video on how to
achieve it spot on.
