This document contains an evaluation of three student examples of coursework assignments on construction. Example 1 discusses a project on transgender issues that used statistics and diagrams effectively with a variety of shots and transitions. However, the audio needed improvement as one person's voice was cut off. Example 2 had too much directly copied material and people were cut off mid-explanation. Example 3 used different camera shots, clear titles, adjusted audio levels, and presented information creatively, but the statistics were amateurish and too many archival materials were used without enough of the presenter. The examples are assessed based on appropriate use of shooting materials, editing meaning, shot transitions, captions, other effects, and sound recording and editing.
