What can EEM do for JB Grant’s success?
• The EFQM Excellence Model (EEM) resembles a high quality of
employee engagement JB Grant values in terms of motivating
employees. Their performance management system is more of a
traditional ratings-based method, and this approach would be
something new for management to learn about and implement.
• The mission and vision of the company are harmonious;
therefore, this model could be the best approach to use.
The SMART Goals Method
• The History of SMART Goals
• The SMART Goals concept was
founded by Dr. Edwin Locke in
1968 when he published a paper
called “Toward a Theory of Task
Motivation and Incentives.” The
rationale of his research was to
portray goal-setting as a precursor
for organizational success
(AchieveIt, n.d.).
• Since then, other researchers
picked up the concept, making
each letter of the acronym stood
for different words that were
synonymously defined (MindTools,
n.d.)
