Read all instructions carefully before you begin the activity.

Task Three -Topic: Your ResearchaboutWeather on a Place in China
After you having been inquired about the weather in the city which you have collected the
information about how the weather looks like, the temperatures differences, the clothes
suggested, etc. in different seasons, by your partner who are under a scenario of being either
students, tourists or business people going to China, you are asked write an article to drop
your finding on your research.

Task:
Your writing could include the following points

1. Period of time of date for each season
2. Activities available and recommended in different seasons and months
3. House worm level and any cooling or heating system could possibly install according to
different seasons
4. Clothes available and recommended in different seasons and months
5. Things you can buy in different seasons and months
6. Food, fruits available and recommended in different seasons and months
7. Things you can talk about (e.g. July-baseball) in different seasons
8. Food provided normally in the restaurants in different seasons and months
9. Day and night temperatures differences in different seasons
10. Festival occurred in different seasons and months

Conditions:

        You are required to write a minimum of 120 words in Chinese
        You will have two periods to draft and complete your work. In the first period,
        you should start by planning your text and prepare a first draft. Then in the
        second period, you should rework your draft and produce the completed
        booklet.
        You will work independently under the supervision of the teacher who will not
        give you any direct assistance.
        You will hand in what you have done after the first period and the teacher will
        keep this securely and return it to you for the second session. You may use
        only those resources indicated by the teacher and may not bring any new
        material into the classroom in the second session. What you write must be
        your own work.
Write a text in Chinese. For Achievement, you should write at least 120 charactersor
        100 Chinese characters with 20 pinyin words; Achievement with Merit or Excellence
        may require more characters but the quality of your writing is more important than the
        length.

        You will be rewarded for:
        •    developing ideas relevant to the task
        •    using a wide variety of vocabulary and structures, including some from Curriculum Level 6
        •    using language accurately.

Task Three -Topic: Your ResearchaboutWeather on a Place in China After you having been inquired about the weather in the city which you have collected the information about how the weather looks like, the temperatures differences, the clothes suggested, etc. in different seasons, by your partner who are under a scenario of being either students, tourists or business people going to China, you are asked write an article to drop your finding on your research. Task: Your writing could include the following points 1. Period of time of date for each season 2. Activities available and recommended in different seasons and months 3. House worm level and any cooling or heating system could possibly install according to different seasons 4. Clothes available and recommended in different seasons and months 5. Things you can buy in different seasons and months 6. Food, fruits available and recommended in different seasons and months 7. Things you can talk about (e.g. July-baseball) in different seasons 8. Food provided normally in the restaurants in different seasons and months 9. Day and night temperatures differences in different seasons 10. Festival occurred in different seasons and months Conditions: You are required to write a minimum of 120 words in Chinese You will have two periods to draft and complete your work. In the first period, you should start by planning your text and prepare a first draft. Then in the second period, you should rework your draft and produce the completed booklet. You will work independently under the supervision of the teacher who will not give you any direct assistance. You will hand in what you have done after the first period and the teacher will keep this securely and return it to you for the second session. You may use only those resources indicated by the teacher and may not bring any new material into the classroom in the second session. What you write must be your own work.
