Implementing the Assessment Plan Who should you confirm the assessment plan with? There may be a number of people involved in or affected by the assessment process All people involved in or affected by the assessment process need to be aware that assessment is taking place
Briefing the candidate What does the candidate need to know? What is in the plan that affects the candidate? What are the aspects of the plan that you need to tell the candidate about? How will you communicate it?
Assessors need to: Communicate a clear understanding of each other’s roles and responsibilities Develop a shared expectation of how the assessment process will work Provide opportunities for two-way feedback Involve candidates
Documenting the assessment At the very least your records should include the following information Name of candidate Name of assessor Date of assessment/s Location of assessment Benchmarks assessed Evidence required/provided Methods and tools used Assessment results Feedback details Any appeals or follow-up procedures
