4. Commitment to consistently meeting the
required laboratory KPI’s:
The environmental monitoring (EM) team
achieved 100% for EM sheets released within
the KPI date for April 2015 – 1st in
microbiology laboratory history! This is
breaking new ground as it is a multi-
department task: Production, Microbiology
Laboratory and QC Administration.

5. Commitment:
High level of personal commitment can be
observed in time keeping and absenteeism.
Teamwork:
Participation by all microbiologists and testers
for OOS investigations and troubleshooting.

6. Participation and Ownership of MER:
All the employees contribute to compiling the
month-end report.
Participation and Ownership of procedures
and standard forms using Doc Compliance.
Use of SLIMS for the capturing of stability
results.

7. Openness of the employees to learning new
systems such as Process Compliance right
down to microbiologist level, initiating and
completing change controls and deviations.
Use of Pragma for maintenance and logging
job cards.

8. Participation and Ownership of training and
qualifications:
Each employee logging onto Success Factors
and checks their to do lists, ensuring that
training is kept up to date.
Established job qualifications which are
currently being completed.

9. Excellence in winning the SHE award four
consecutive times: June 2013, December
2013, Jun 2014 and December 2014.

near misses within and outside of the

knowledge during both internal and external
audits by all levels of staff.

Dressed as penguins, the microbiology
laboratory staff raised awareness of the
raising sea level: “Don’t let our icecaps melt
and Antarctica be a distant memory for us –
Save our penguins!”
