The 'Save Energy Helsinki Pilot' aims to achieve significant energy savings in public buildings through the use of smart ICT energy management and user behavioral transformation. The project includes implementing energy audits, real-time energy monitoring, and engaging users in educational activities to promote energy efficiency. It is supported by a funding of 4.46 million euros from the EU's Framework Programme 7 and involves collaboration among multiple stakeholders, including the Helsinki Metropolia University and local schools.
