• I did my internship at ashamaan foundation.
• Ashamaan foundation is an organization continuously
working for urban and rural women to save them from
highly epidemic diseases.
• And also focused on child health and education.

Objective of the Study
• Lots of women from rural and urban areas get ill
due to non availability of sanitary pads. So our
objective is to provide them sanitary napkins with
free of cost. For which it will be very much
beneficial for them and we will save them from
highly epidemic diseases.

Research Methodology
• By putting ads. On social media platforms we can a create a social media awareness of using of sanitary napkins and its
benefits. And how it saves their life from highly epidemic diseases. To generate the awareness we have to follow some
procedures.
• The project involves three key components:
• Production and Distribution: The project establishes a local production facility to manufacture high-quality sanitary
napkins. By employing sustainable and cost-effective manufacturing methods, the project ensures a steady supply of sanitary
napkins at affordable prices. Collaborations with local NGOs, community centers, and schools are established to efficiently
distribute the products, ensuring they reach women and girls in need.
• Education and Awareness: The project conducts comprehensive menstrual health education programs in partnership with
local healthcare professionals and educators. Workshops, interactive sessions, and informative materials are designed to
address the myths, taboos, and misconceptions surrounding menstruation. The goal is to empower women and girls with
knowledge about menstrual hygiene practices, product usage, and proper disposal methods. Additionally, the project focuses
on promoting open conversations about menstruation to foster supportive and inclusive environmens.
Sustainable Impact and Empowerment: The project aims to create sustainable impact and empower women by providing
income-generating opportunities. By training and employing women from disadvantaged backgrounds, the project not only
ensures the availability of sanitary napkins but also contributes to women's economic empowerment. These trained women
become advocates and ambassadors for menstrual health in their communities, spreading awareness and supporting other women
in managing their menstrual health effectively.

Results & Findings
• The project aims to address the critical issue of menstrual hygiene by providing accessible and affordable
sanitary napkins to women and girls. Recognizing the barriers and challenges faced by the rural and urban

• Improved quality of life for the targeted rural and urban women.

• The ultimate goal of the project is to enhance menstrual health,
