The document discusses some of the benefits of using information and communication technologies (ICTs) in education. It argues that ICTs facilitate autonomy in the learning process and self-instruction, allowing students to learn without a physical teacher. Developing a sense of responsibility is an important element that is formed through ICT-based learning. Efficiency is another important factor when incorporating ICTs into the educational process, saving time and resources like paper. One of the main challenges is providing proper guidance to students on using these tools to facilitate cognitive activity and connection with others. The greatest challenge for teachers is to continually train themselves in using ICTs and apply them appropriately without losing sight of their educational goals.

Carson was the art director for Raygun magazine, where his experimental typography and unstructured designs with layered fonts and images created an appealing yet crazy presentation without boundaries. These designers demonstrate techniques for clean, eye-catching designs that can be adapted for a new magazine.

Charlotte is strongly independent, innovative, and driven to accomplish goals quickly. She prefers working independently and can become impatient with routine tasks. As a manager, she would focus on goals and results, delegate details, and check in on progress based on timelines rather than processes. Her influencing style is authoritative and competitive as she aggressively pursues goals. To be effective, Charlotte needs opportunities to learn, independence to pursue new ideas, variety in challenges, and advancement based on achievements.
This document reports on a survey of 69 software developers and non-developers about how they search for and evaluate ready-to-run software. The survey found that the most important characteristics when searching for software included the size of the software, similarity to other software used, software architecture, quality of support, and other people's opinions. Respondents also rated characteristics like programming languages used, reputation of developers, ease of use, licensing, and performance as usually or above-average in importance. The document concludes by recommending that software developers make key information like features, standards, pricing, requirements, and licensing prominent in documentation to improve discoverability and reuse of their software.

Still, most artists continue to release physical albums with back covers that include the track list, barcode, copyright information, and record label.

As
an
intern
at
DAR
AL-‐HANDASAH
SHAIR
AND
PARTNERS,
I
worked
along
with
a
group
of
interns
on
the
design
of
the
latest
expansion
of
the
Holy
Haram
of
Mecca
under
the
supervision
of
the
lead
designing
architect
of
the
Holy
Haram.
We
studied
the
built
sections
of
the
Holy
Haram
in
order
to
improve
the
sections
that
are
being
designed.
I
personally
worked
on
designing
the
routes
for
the
service
vehicles
and
the
shuttle
stations.
These
new
shuttles
will
carry
the
elderly
and
the
disabled.
I
also
worked
on
the
design
of
the
new
minaret,
which
was
structurally
challenging
due
to
an
existing
void
in
the
ground
below
where
it
should
be
positioned.

For
our
graduation
project,
we
tried
to
use
our
design
skills
to
create
an
architectural
output
that
will
help
improve
our
society
and
our
quality
of
life
in
Jordan.
Jordan
Is
facing
a
rapid
growth
of
population,
which
is
directly
affecting
the
environment
and
the
economy.
Markka’s
scrap
yard
is
an
environmental
and
social
catastrophe
that
started
in
the
early
1980s.
Earlier,
these
cars
were
sold
immediately
to
factories,
as
local
steel
prices
were
high.
Nowadays,
however,
prices
have
dropped
and
that
lowers
the
demand
for
these
cars.
These
automobiles,
although
out
of
commission,
can
still
have
a
purpose
by
giving
back
the
metal
that
they
consist
of.
Scrap
metal
recycling
is
less
energy-‐intensive
and
more
efficient
than
extracting
and
refining
raw
metals
through
traditional
mining.
Our
architectural
intervention
was
to
create
an
efficient
recycling
that
involves
society
to
increase
awareness
and
motivate
individuals
to
take
part
in
protecting
the
environment.

Al-‐Khayyam
street
is
an
old
street
in
downtown
Amman
that
connects
the
city
center
with
Al-‐Weibdeh
and
it
is
very
sloped
and
narrow.
In
the
early
1960’s
the
street
housed
a
movie
theatre
which
back
then
was
only
targeted
to
a
certain
social
class,
the
elites.
Many
tailors’
shops
opened
to
serve
such
social
class
(people
who
could
afford
custom
made
clothes).
Now
the
movie
theatre
is
abandoned
and
neglected
although
it
is
architecturally
valuable
3. and
many
tailors’
shops
are
still
open
but
are
hardly
surviving.
The
street
is
dead
and
forgotten.
Our
intervention
aimed
to
demolish
the
abandoned
building
that
is
opposite
to
the
movie
theatre
which
(1)
opens
the
street
to
the
available
view
(2)
draws
attention
to
the
movie
theatre
building
(3)
created
an
opportunity
for
us
to
give
the
street
a
new
character
(4)
increases
street
openness.

Communal
spaces
are
all
about
people,
their
relationships
with
each
other
and
their
environment.
My
team
and
I
deeply
investigated
the
modern
communal
spaces
in
terms
of
spatial
experiences
and
opportunities.
With
our
fast
changing
world
and
the
rapid
growth
of
population,
high
density
issues
are
arising,
so
we
tried
utilizing
new
technologies
to
manage
the
flow
of
compact
communal
spaces
to
enhance
human
and
spatial
interactions.
We
chose
the
work
environment
as
a
model
and
we
used
“slack”
(the
multi-‐functional-‐work-‐management
medium)
as
a
metaphor.
Our
main
concept
was
to
“layer”
space,
and
using
the
technology
of
mixed
reality
was
really
tempting,
so
we
produced
a
short
video
documenting
a
new
employee’s
day
at
the
“office
of
the
future”
where
we
demonstrated
the
use
of
mixed
reality
to
represent
typical
office
functions.
