Cultural Similarities and Differences in Arts paper
700-1500 words
Introduction (Emily)
Differing regions have differing cultures. In America, when a tragedy strikes the northern states, people bring casseroles. In the southern states, people rally together with physical presence. While both cultures are within the United States and within the same speaking language, they differ in small ways that sets them apart. This concept can be transplanted into any culture with similarities but with some form of contrasting individuality. The Spanish speaking world is vast and spans numerous nations throughout central and south America, as well as in Europe. Mexica, Brazil, Ecuador, Panama and Chile all speak a variant of Spanish, but have diverse cultures. When it comes to art, language is not the only similarity trait between these countries. Art is a universal topic and it does not take speaking the language to enjoy and understand art. The word art, however, does have differing meanings to differing countries and their cultures.

Hi Emily,
The outline looks great there are 5 points and 12 parts total are we each choosing 2 parts a piece from the outline? If so I have attached my choices below. I also suggest Mexico for the larger country since you mentioned it in the intro, and we can chose another country from the list you have listed to make the paper flow. How does that work for everyone?

the sub paragraphs were just ideas to help with the person doing the paragraph. My thought was that each person could take a star (*), Kiesha could do Mexico, and Angela could take Puerto Rico. This way, everyone has a portion, and none are reliant upon another doing their portion except with the final drafting.
